Actually I like that color. It aint too bad. I'm using it right now to do a championship in pro league.

there was a red one in GT2, though it was a 97, and the blue one is a 98... differences in the back end, as the 97 is shorter... I'll try to find pics.

What i dont like about the r390 road car is the lack of horse power. If your gonna save it for the ttrail mountain endurance or the polyphony 10 series race you can only have the horses around 390. Its brother (the toyota gt1 road car) comes with 600-700hp.

But i still love the r390!

Indeed. Reflecting the sportscar design philosophies of the time. Nissan followed McLaren in just grafting a long tail onto the existing car, after the Porsche GT1 blew everyone away.

Hmm.

Sportscars made in Europe at the behest of Japanese manufacturers for a specific assault on Le Mans. 'Stretching' the at-the-time rules they shared too. But I'm not sure you can call them brothers - I think Toyota and Nissan would have 'issues' with that!

Yeah but if you are like me, its sitting at around 1000hp so i cant use it in the race. Besides either the R390 road car or the Viper will do the job nicely in those races.

anyway, any car with 280 hp or more can win the Polyphony Digital cup... you don't need a 600hp Toyota GT-One to do it!

In GT2, I couldn't buy suspension parts for either R390. I had the buggy 1st version of the game, was this fixed in later versions? I liked the red '97, but no suspension = lame...

it was like that in all the game's versions.

and you didn't really need it, it was quite a good handler with the stock suspension.
