Nissman, I believe you are in the same race team as my pal Eric/Solar.
Yes indeed he is IRT member. One of the fastest of course.
Nissman, I believe you are in the same race team as my pal Eric/Solar.
The times are from Fuji F. We just had another race and Piket/tony1311 did 1.30.6xx
You have to know there are big differences in driver skills in this game, thats why we call some drivers aliens. You have to practice a lot and most important IMO is talent.
You should join our casual racing room sometimes, save replay from some race and check the gearing and driving lines from the best drivers, it should help you to get atleast a second.👍
I would love to join you guys,is it ok if I drive a 1997 Castrol Tom's Supra?
And just to ask, wouldnt hard tyres be more realistic?
Would race with you guys, when is the next session?
Yes indeed he is IRT member. One of the fastest of course.![]()
If You would drive with Racing Hards 1´49 times at Suzuka
which is lap record for GT500 cars, It would be more realistic
yes.👍
Heres a link from 2010 Suzuka qualis--> http://supergt.net/supergt/2010/1001/1001qual_e.htm

I'll look for the room sometime Nissman. I know I've got some work to do with tuning, because even when I'm winning online, I do notice even the less skilled drivers that I beat have advantages in certain areas and it mostly revolves around being able to get the power down out of the corners earlier and sometimes higher cornering speeds at times. I just can't for the life of me get around those times at Fuji F...lol...I'll have another go at it on the weekend.
Are all the makes of cars relatively close to the 1:31's or is there one that stands out? I have one of each pretty much so I could focus on one maybe and that might help, although I have noticed there is less than a second difference for me with all of them at Trial Mountain.
Oh and just so there's no mistaking where I'm coming from, it bugs the crap out of me knowing there is someone out there more skilled and faster than I am...lol. I want to be the best at everything I do and this is no exception. Obviously I have a lot more to learn than I thought and no better place than to learn from the best. I don't want to be referred to as an alien...lol
Best Laps from previous season:
Fuji -- 1.32.5xx
Laguna Seca -- 1.17.7xx
Deep Forest -- 1.04.9xx
Cape Ring South -- 1.06.7xx
Suzuka - 1.52.1xx
Trial Mountian -- 1.15.9xx
You have to know this times are crazy, only the best drivers in the world manage them. So if you're 1 sec slower you are still very fast. 👍
Thinking about it for a while now...
you guys did 1.04.9xx on Deep Forest with stock GT500 cars (532 HP limit? Wasn't Z's HP limit after oil change and engine breakdown 546 HP/CV or somesuch?)?
It's honestly very hard to believe without exploiting some sort of glitch/cheat (clutch abuse, transmission glitch, custom firmwares, custom peripherals, etc.), track's pretty short and there's very few corners which don't leave much room for creative approaches to the apex either so I don't see how you can be that many seconds faster than anybody else on "driving skill" alone (cause the set-up options are so limited it doesn't take a rocket scientist to get the best out of any car)...
...could you provide a video or replay file please? Replay of the race perhaps? I'm kinda curious.
.
I don't get how you could possibly say we're cheating in any way. We weren't born yesterday, we are commited GT racers and well known in the community. It's at least disrespectful questioning our integrity.👎
For the history: The laptime of 1'04.9 was run with bone stock Calsonic R35,oil change + breaking in-->518 hp. With 532hp ,i believe <1'04.5xx is possible. Also, the lap was run in online mode, not in A-spec practice mode with tire wear. Practice mode can produce significantly better laptimes.
There's ways to exploit tuning within the game self-imposed and hard-coded rules (although I don't really know how to make it effective, only heard of it on chans by people who weren't willing to share the knowledge for obvious reasons), besides, there's plenty of cheating going on in GT5 as in any other online videogame.there is no such thing as bug/glitch regarding tunning in GT5
don't be naive
Look mate the last time I'm replying to your messages. You are calling me a liar and a cheater. Its clear that your group of guys are so slow that it doesnt go in your head how my group is so fast. There is no bugs in tunning and we are not looking for them. I guess you are looking for bugs coz you know a lot about it.
Don't be jelaous, just becouse you cant do it doesnt mean it cant be done.
Please join my room sometimes, I post the room number here and we'll see if you even know how to drive a car.
My guess is you dont have the balls to join us...![]()
as there's no way you can run 1.04's in online public lobbies with a stock '08 GT-R and rubberbanding/draft set on off
to boast on forums about how much more "skilled" than anybody else we happen to be
