From my thread, I mentioned the Grand Valley and Castol Supra thing in a "That's some stupid crap! For that matter, you might as well say that..." thing.
If I offended anyone, my best guess is that both G.V. and the Castrol Supra will be in GT4. That's at least a 70-85 percent chance of happening. So smile. God loves you!

As far as long races go, keep in mind. I'm one of the few that raced 40+ minutes of the Polyphony Digital Cup race at Tokyo R246. Also some that raced all approx. 2:45:00.000 of the Tokyo R246 endurance. The racing is short because remember, the game, as realistic as it is, is tailored to both the casual and hardcore racers. A hardcore racing game would have instead of 2 laps in the beginners, 3. Instead of 3 laps, 5. Instead of 5 laps, 10. Instead of 10, 25. See where I'm going with this? Actually, I'm cool with the format as it is. Gran Turismo was a little short, but with Gran Turismo 3, the length of races just feels right. I mean, if I'm racing with the pros, I want to at least feel like I am. I mean, I want to race the higher class races so I feel like a dedicated racing pro, not a 21 y/o racing a car I'd never get to drive or own even if I sold my soul to the Devil.
I would say that races longer than 2:30:00.000 should be shortened a tad. I know that racing (legally) Tokyo R246 is fun, but shortening it to maybe a 50 lap or maybe 75 laps would be less of an endurance. So I can complete the race, and try again if I wanted a different prize car or to improve my race position.
So there is my expert-like analysis of this issue. How do you feel about the topic in question?
