https://www.gtplanet.net/night-racing-weather-indy-cars-irl-confirmed-for-gt5/ Heres the article. It wasnt Sony or PD, but PTOM.
Which was going off the article we are discussing now.
Ok what are you trying to say? that OPM didn't conhfirm IRL? Because the article did say they would be included, thats what a conformation is, when its coming directly from a publication of sony.

Motor trend and car and driver make mistakes all the time and retract them later. That's how it works in the print world. Don't take everything you read and see so seriously. Life isn't about GT5, and if yours is, you might wanna seek some help. Grow up...
Sony doesn't publish it, Future US(PTOM publisher, they also publish OXM and Nintendo Power) just pays Sony for the rights to be the "official" PS magazine. That's about where the connection with Sony ends. They also have retracted that claim if you aren't aware of the thread topic you are discussing.
Yes I am fully aware that they retracted it, I don't just click random threads and not read the topic. Thats why I was mad in the first place. Do me a favor and dont quote my posts anymore and I'll do the same for you.
No can do. I signed up on these discussion boards to do just that. If you don't like to be proven wrong you might want to grow some thicker skin or you are in a world of hurt both here and in real life.
You're acting like a child, seriously.
How can you say you didn't take something seriously, when a small thing caused you to completely discredit anything the magazine does from now on? That's not taking it too seriously?
I wonder why PD didn't step up and officially announce there wasn't going to be Indy after all this hype about it.
If true, I can't believe that either PD or Sony didn't put out a statement right away.
They let people think it had Indy in it this long? wtf!
I bet the journalist saw that "indy" was in the game and not knowing it was indianapolis instead of the entire indy league.. could be bad journalism at it's finest (which we have seen a lot of when it comes to videogame journalism in the past 5 years).
Any further questions?
Lost all credibility? For a simple mistake? After which they apologize?
Theres a difference in a developer saying theyre trying to make a feature into a game
magazine stating something as big "exclusive" news.
Actually, if they wouldve said "no night racing", i wouldve believed them too, because that was more likely than the IRL news, at least to me.
I missed the apology. Where was it?
LucasJust looked at the original post again. True, there wasn't any apologize. The image is enough for me. I can't see why it isn't enough for the rest, though.
It doesnt work for me.
