No X1 in A-Spec/B-Spec Races and more ...

I wish they'd remove the ability to use X2010 in A-Spec and B-Spec races. And endurance races. And please introduce HP/Weight/Tyre/PP restrictions in all races.

Make the buttons so that the game does not register continuous button presses, if effect, you have to lift your finger off the button for the game to register one button press.

Make the walls on Indy actually behave like walls and not like frictionless walls a la physics thought experiments.

These features are detrimental to my game experience since they are being abused by other people to get cash and XP.

Thank you.

Why?

You want it to be about skill?

Restricting all that doesn't make it any less "hard" it just makes it far more time consuming. Time invested doesn't equal skill.

You want skill? Go give the WRS a go. No X1's, no Wall banging, No corner cutting.. Just pure driving skill.

+1 👍

:dopey: WRS will remove your brain, mince it, boil it, drain off the fat and then put it back in through your eye sockets.

WRS will take what you thought was possible then proceed to turn it inside out, back to front and spit it back at you 5 seconds faster leaving you with absolutely no idea what/when/how and who just happened.

I think someone is frustrated because he didn't have time to trade a X1 before the patch:)

After reading this thread I think I'm gonna have my bob grind some more money in my traded carbon x2010

Yes, more restrictions, great idea!

Mine is doing the Tsukubar 9hr as we speak type , and he is driving the carbon X1 that was given to me too .

I already have it bud, but I want to see what being an elitist is like.

Then you shouldn't play A-spec or B-spec from the beginning.

A-spec and B-spec are only for griding in GT5.

Play online if you want some real battles with great drivers.

Have some self control! Don't be so childish, seriously if you don't want the x1 in a spec restrict yourself!

Well i can restrict myself, but I want other people to be restricted too.
Not everyone knows how to play the game properly. This way, PD can teach them how it was meant to be played. AKA: Without a rubberband, X1, and Indy.

But why?

I'm sorry, but this type of behavior is elitist. How is it detrimental to the game if you don't have to do it to complete it? Nowhere does it require you in A/B-Spec to complete a level with a Red Bull X2010, just that it's easier to do with it. Furthermore, not everyone has the time to waste six hours on the Suzuka 1000 KM and some people just want to finish the game as quickly as possible so they don't have to worry about buying cars for it anymore and buy cars they want.

I agree with that sentiment, but unfortunately, now that gifting is gone, the system must be thorough and weed out all exploits from the game. PD has put a positive step forward and now they should finish what they started.

How to play the game properly? Who are you to tell other people how to play their game.

Do you also want to remove all driving aids?

Ack... That does not compute. Not everyone knows how to play the game properly. I must be the one to teach them.

Cry me a river

I hate how the guy next door cooks his dinner, I'm gonna take it to the supreme court..

Just spat coffee all over the place LOL.

Were you in the PD boardroom when they decided this?

This reminds me the pic of "someone is wrong on the internet".

Maybe if you let the others play the way as they want?

If I was, my 1337 leadership skillz would have saved this game from being a disappointment. Besides, if being able to play the game with a rubberband, X1 and Indy was intended, then ...:lol::lol:

Find a fact saying that more people is disappointed with the game - then we can discuss this. Sure it could have been better, much better, but a bad game - no, that's not GT5. You clearly haven't played a bad game then.

That's why I said disappointing.

Not if your use of text speak and childish words are anything to go by.

You call it a disappointment - but you are part of the minority. Many people love it for its physics, number of cars, online racing and the possibilities to setup a car as you like it. There are many opportuinities.

In general it's not a disappointment, but it could have been better, all games can be better. I'll bet that GT6 is going to be the best of the series when we see it in the future sometime.

So the fact that I ran the Indy 500 last night in the X2010 really must get to you. Granted this is my second go at it and the first time I used the Peugot 908. I was just bored and wanted to see if I could do the race in under 2 hours. I guess the Escudo should be left out too. The Bobs had a field day in it at the Nine hours of Tsukuba. They had a 70 lap lead over second place and 101 lap lead over last place.

Let people play how they want. It does not harm you in any way. If you "think" it does, well I feel real bad for you.

I am the overlord of the GT Hardcore Racing Community. I love Nurburgring. I have played GT since GT 1. I am the great I.

Well, you are right to an extent. But GT6 being the best? We've heard it before. So don't count on it.

They absolutely cannot play however they want. Racing is sacred. There are rules and they must be enforced. :grumpy:

Had to quit my job because of that guy. It's really ruined my life. If I whine on the internet, I might be happier.

It is a game. Not real racing. Shhhh.... it will be okay. I promise.

Awww, you poor whinger. Do you wear grey cardigans?

My Bob is doing the Tsukuba 9 hrs, in my 65,000miles X2010 ( it gives you an idea of how much grinding im doing with it) while i'm at work. He did 24hrs LeMans few times too. I really don't see how MY way to play the game ruins YOUR gaming experience. Rewards are the same, using the X2010 or a Cappucino.
