I wish they'd remove the ability to use X2010 in A-Spec and B-Spec races. And endurance races. And please introduce HP/Weight/Tyre/PP restrictions in all races.

Make the buttons so that the game does not register continuous button presses, if effect, you have to lift your finger off the button for the game to register one button press. AKA: Remove the ability to rubberband grind on Indy.

Make the walls on Indy actually behave like walls and not like frictionless walls a la physics thought experiments.

These features are detrimental to my game experience since they are being abused by other people to get cash and XP.

Thank you.

If people have no lives and play a game not for fun, just let them do that. Why bother, if they want to ruin their fun, and almist make the game work, let them do that. If you know it suck, then that should be enough for yoy, right?

I am the overlord of the GT Hardcore Racing Community.

They absolutely cannot play however they want. Racing is sacred. There are rules and they must be enforced. :grumpy:

Wow! Sorry my Lord. I forgot that world peace is in danger because we ruins the GT game play.

This is a GAME, nothing sacred. Get a life, a real life, and stop sleeping with your PS3.

My Bob is doing the Tsukuba 9 hrs, in my 65,000miles X2010 ( it gives you an idea of how much grinding im doing with it) while i'm at work. He did 24hrs LeMans few times too. I really don't see how MY way to play the game ruins YOUR gaming experience. Rewards are the same, using the X2010 or a Cappucino.

I cannot express in words the rage that is coursing through my body ... Arrrrr ...

GT5 is life. :odd:

What the hell is that thing??

You should of said "Your Mom", but that would of been as unnecessary as this thread.

Oh nice, personal insults. Be careful man.

I wouldn't be telling people to be careful. Your elitist attitude won't get you far here.

Well i can restrict myself, but I want other people to be restricted too.

Why? Because your world peace bring accomplishments in GT5 are tarnished because some average Joe doesn't spend day in and day out grinding like you do? 👎 Work smarter not harder.

PS, Accomplishments in GT5 are not actually real accomplishments, you know that right? It is only a game.

If you still don't get it yet, read the first page carefully. And I mean every word. Slowly. Then, bother to read my sig. Slowly.

Get it?

I agree with that sentiment, but unfortunately, now that gifting is gone, the system must be thorough and weed out all exploits from the game. PD has put a positive step forward and now they should finish what they started.

You still haven't explained how the way someone plays the game actually effects you? I have a hunch but would love to hear your reason.

Not everyone knows how to play the game properly. This way, PD can teach them how it was meant to be played. AKA: Without a rubberband, X1, and Indy.

You my friend are what we call in the trade a dictator!

Well, I said it earlier in the thread. Autogrinders can put their game to work for a longer time. Which means they get cash and XP faster than me. Which means they get more cars, also faster than me. Which means they can have different tune setting on different cars, more colours. Which is unfair when I go online and race on unrestricted lobbies.

Arrr ... If I was head of FIA or if I replaced Ecclestone, the racing world would be so much better. My vision is vast ... :)

I have already read every single word. Your name is not Kaz so I don't care what you say.

You don't...

I can't see why this is supposed to discuss anything about GT5 - you can restrict yourself so go and win the 24hr Le Mans in a Zonda R - we don't care about you and your opinion. Play the game as you like, but if anyone ever dictated people how to play a game nobody would.

It's a game, not your life - I hope.

If you are so much better you don't need to worry about the auto grinders, do you?

Say it this way: You cheat because you are better than others, even though they have played the game more. That is just as ridiculous as your statement.

I will continue playing my way. Come and stop me.

Boo Hoo, Me, Me, Me, that is all I hear. It is a method available to everyone in the game, if you choose not to use it that is your fault. Next you complain about 4WD cars because you can not drive them properly and should be restricted. Cry me a river.

facepalm

Arrr ... I will petition PD to stop you from your nefarious activities ... Ye PD gods, hear my plea ...

i hate how the guy next door cooks his dinner, i'm gonna take it to the supreme court..

Found this from one of the threads you started...

I was doing a free run around Suzuka (variable weather) while waiting for people to join my online lobby (but no one did  ). I was using the DB9, and the skid recovery force was set to off and using the DS3 (R2/L2 for accel/brake).

I just couldn't manage to keep the car steady. I haven't had much practice with skid force off as A-spec locks it to on atleast to the level I'm at (13). The problem is I can't maintain a steady acceleration with R2 (or not much control in minute variations) and the car spins out too easily.

Has anyone succeeded in overcoming this? How to do it? I might try mapping accel/brake to the right stick but it's a bit counter-intuitive for me.

You don't use a wheel! You aren't doing it right! Let's tell Kaz do ban DS3s!!!

Why don't you b-spec grind too then? I can't see the problem.

It's like saying, just because I haven't got time to play more than 3-4 hours per week should no one else be allowed to play more than that, cause then they will be able to grind more xp and cash.

Now when my PS3 got YLOD, no one should be allowed to play GT5 at all.

Instead of whining how people play their game, join some restricted lobbies and have some fun.

All of us sin sometime or the other. We are imperfect and seek the racing gods' mercy for our soul.

I have since repented and now refrain from using a DS3. So please, ban DS3s or remove the sticks from them so rubberbands cannot be used on them. My conscience is now clear.

Or ban all wheels, isn't fair for the DS3 users when some people uses wheels:dopey:

You don't need to use a DS3 to grind, you can do it with a wheel too. BAN ALL WHEELS!!!!
