Nokia N70 Discontinued?

Apparently the Nokia N70 has been discontinued as off a few days ago due to [URL="http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?p=186840]"software problems".[/URL]

That was a mighty quick life span, if i may say!!

No-one else has any information on this?

Just checked with Avenir telecom, the N70 is not being discontinued, theres simply a problem with distribution to some stores. The 3 network may be discontinuing it though, but thats all.

Oh ok, thanks for the clarification . Whats the reason for 3 discontinuing it though?

I don't think it's selling well on 3, there's been talk of it not being fully compatible with 3's services, but thats a load of rubbish. It's not 100% certain they are discontinuing it, N70 stock for the 3 network is still available from the warehouses,theres just talk of them discontinuing it.

lol i also find it hard to believe that it is not 'compatible' with 3's services, the N70 has been out for a while, surely if there were compatability issues it would have been pointed out already!
