(NOOB) How do i lock a thread?

Sorry a noob question and you all are probably sick of answering it but how do i lock a thread to stop it being a duplicate and everyone going mad?

You can look around, and search properly, so as not to create a duplicate in the first place. 💡

You can report your own post using the yellow triangle icon in the bottom right of your post, and then ask in the message box for your thread to be locked - that will be seen by all the mods in their lair mod subforum.

Alternatively, look for a supermod who's online at the time (halfway down the main forum page, click the link in the blue bar that reads 'View Forum Leaders') and PM them.

Alternatively alternatively, as C-ZETA mentioned, go Premium and lock your own, whilst supporting the site at the same time 👍
