Is there a setting somewhere or has anyone found a way to make the AI actually race you on the ring instead of racing for a bit and then yielding?

I managed to get a challenge out of them at the ring. Custom Race in a stock Evo 96, added full weight, lowered power all the way, went down 1 tyre compound too. Started from the back of a grid of 20 cars. Slow car boost off, & everything set to as realistic as possible (no assists). They're still too slow around corners, but it was interesting to finally be able to get some kind of challenge out of them at least.

Sounds boring to me . Choose a n200, sport hard tiers, and let the opponents be the highest n1000 or whatever . Boost of, etc. Is it still to easey for you?

I normally race in gt4 against gt3 but to be honest its still not great racing

Perhaps when GTS adds a bus you can get some competition against the GR.1 cars
