Not bad for a 3 month old tune eh?

nice run keep tuning and 8s maybe?

Not sure. The launch is giving me issues. Launches at different rpm each time so i never get an even launch.

If the launches were even instead of having to restart 10 million times I'd think about working on this more. Gets me on the leaderboard though so I'm happy with it for now. Was tuning my Mach 1 and GT5 gave me the black screen so I said **** it and shut it off.

I found that when using the ps3 controller once you press start keep holding the throttle and don't play with the revs, you'll get identical runs every time and usually the fastest result. Once I play with the throttle during the countdown then times get inconsistent and slower too, that's been my experience anyway.

9.076 with the tune I ran you guys with

Nice:tup:

I'm stuck right now. I've done everything from adjust the suspension to starting the tranny from scratch and I cant get it any faster. I'm sure someone can get it into the 8's. I'm content with where I'm at though..... for now.

I'm stuck too.

@Mikey, When I hit the green button to start I hold the X and shift into second. Different runs still.

I've been able to manage very consistent runs, even with manual transmission.

Edit: I have had difficulties managing consistent times in 4wd's. Even with the use of AT I've had variances of up to a tenth. The only one I've ran so far is my CTR2 so I don't know if this will be an issue with other 4wd's.

I can get some consistent times with my No Stripe if I short-shift. That difference could be from the different RPM at launch each time. That's how my No Stripe is. Check the group. I issued a challenge.

To get matching times hold down the accelerator before the run loads. The variance comes into play when the revs bounce off the limiter before you launch. Holding the button down before the stage loads keeps the time you have applied the gas for the same and therefore the launch revs are too.

…obviously this only keeps auto times the same (unless you’re a perfect shifter ;)), but it gives you a good idea of what changes work then you can switch back to manual to get a good time 👍

That's what I'm saying. I hate the variable RPM's. But now I pretty much screwed myself because I got a good time on an off RPM and now I can't fix it. We'll see what happens.
