Did you get the stuff I sent you?

I thought i PM'ed you? Yeah, i got it.. Thanks for the picks and the strings and the Tabs, dude. I havent tried the tabs yet because i havent found a song that i actually have to lsiten to and play at the same time.. So i dont know how they sound.

But i absolutely love the picks. Arent they vinyl or something? Really easy to strum with. Lots better than my thick plastic pick.

The cable you sent me seems exactly like the one i bought in a store that 5ft long.. I payed 7$ for it (off of 11 it was supposed to be.. i had a nice guy at the register.)

But anyway, i dont want to populate this thread with guitar ramble.. So yeah. :)

I've been in alot of torrnadoes I've even been chased by one ...yes I was chaced by a tornado...Lucky you didnt loose internet connection otherwise we would know about this!

5 minutes ago, there was some major cloud rotation above my house. And 40 minutes or so from my house is a 300 mph wind speed tornado going. Luckily it's not coming towards us. But now it's clearing up.

Well I didn't want to start a new thread about it, so I'll post it here.

Today the weather was really bad, and when I got home everything seemed to be clearing up. Well, that soon changed for the worse. I watched out my window as funnel clouds formed and you could see the tornado begin to form; spinning clouds and all. I must say that was the scariest moment of my life thus far. It wasn't really that far away either.

The clouds were very dark, and in the distance I could see clouds that looked like they were tornado shaped touching the ground. I really got worried when the second funnel showed up. The first just disappeared into nothingness. This funnel cloud almost touched the ground about 1 mile away from my house, and I could see it all happening.

I got my sister in the closet along with my dog and two cats. I just sat at the window and watched with amazement at the cloud spinning around. I've never seen a tornado or funnel cloud before, so this was a learning experience for sure. Luck was on my side though, and the cloud went the other way. 👍 On another good note, the clouds behind my house opened up and the sun came out.

Now the clouds are still kind of lingering around, and there is a little lightining. Hopefully it won't get bad tonight. Just thought I'd share my story.

Wow. That's an incredible experience, Dodge. Being able to watch a Tornado form would be breath-taking. You done the right thing though, seems as if you stayed calm and protected your family. Kudos for that.

But wow, certainly a heart-stopping moment, but an amazing experience that I'm sure you won't forget for a very long time.

I wish I had taken pictures now though, but I guess at the time I was thinking about doing the right things. Getting everyone in the house in a safe place, I didn't have much time to think about it. I tried to stay calm in front of my sister, so she wouldn't freak out. I just told her we were going into the closet just in case something was to happen, and that our parents would be home shortly.

I live in north Tx. Some relatives live, and where I used to live, in Del City Ok. are in Tornado alley.

Yeah, Oklahoma, Kansas and us north Texans get those bad tornadoes.

Everytime I hear of a Tornado Warning, I move my car in the garage.
Except one time. I was leaving DFW Airport inly to find a tornado had touched down in the way I was going. What did I do?

I spent the rest of the night back at the airport outside a Delta Airlines gate with a bunch of other people.

Anybody went thru Andrew back in 92?

I was a kid back then and still remember the destruction it left behind. We went to the beach and found yachts on the roads massive oak trees snapped like twigs...I wasnt in ground zero tho (homestead) they got it the worse. the only good thing to come out was the free food ;) but living with no power for months....THAT was bad

What people have to go through... excititng story there 69Dodge Charger. What do you think is worse? Knowing something is coming after you, like a tornado. Or, the surprise of an earthquake? I'll take a tornado over an earthquake.

Solid, I have seen these "Micro Bursts" but not the ones that look like a tornado, the one's I have seen, you can see right through them. But, the only earthquake i've experienced is a 3.0.

Here in Florida, we get some pretty b1tchin' hurricanes. Last year should be a damn good example. I made a thread with pics here in teh Rumble Strip too.

Wow, 69Dodge Charger. I honestly wish I was there with you watching those tornadoes forming. That has got to be the ultimate rush watching one of those massive clouds start rotating and then forming into a funnel. Storm (tornado) chasing is on my list of things to do before I die. I'd really love to do it.
