thanks for keeping an eye on this Jav, been so busy at work.

this is taking place on the type v circuit not the 24 hour one so will definatly not be confused with a money glitch lobby. I am going to host it in a public lobby with the title 4 HOUR ENDURANCE. I will post the room number up on here at 8pm tomorrow.
The Lexus fits perfectally into the regs, i still havnt decides what car im definalty going to use. It doesnt matter if a few have the same car as it will make it interesting, just aslong as every1 is not in the same. the GTR would be good out of the box but the Amuse s2000 would require some serious ballast as thats a very light and rapid car.
 
would i be able to join in the race? i hope its competitive though. I might fall asleep otherwise but yeah i would like to join in tomorrow. i'll be doing it with a m8 on 1 console on sunday so its good practice.
 
Ok cool :) I may look into a few other cars, like the LM ones you mentioned, got quite a few hanging around. Are you allowing GT500's? With max ballast they can sneak in at 1300kg

Citroen GT Race Car is another strong contender!
 
Just a note to everyone:

When choosing a car, don't automatically pick the one you think is fastest. You're better off going with the car that feels more comfortable for your driving style; you will be racing for 4 hours... not 4 minutes. This one is a long haul so be sure to pick a car that is stable and consistent over one that is fast but a handful to keep under control. If you can't manage to keep it on the track for 3 laps imagine how much trouble you're going to have after 30 laps when you're exhausted.
 
The High End Performance G27. I'll use that for the race!!!

Final Choice. Tell me if thats OK, its the same specs as the Lexus IS-F for the most part so it should be. Drives real nice. ;)
 
Well yeah, but it'd be nice to be at the sharp end of the pack, obviously not gonna pick a monster like the yellowbird that'll probably kill me an hour in lol, just something quick(ish!) and consistent :)

I think it would be a good idea to mark down which of the drivers have headset and their language. You know, jsut as a reference. I speak English and do have a headset.
Oh and I worked out that to last four hours, your average lap time needs to be 8.30. Use that as a reference.

I'll stick with the ISF Race concept I think, good car! :) although the GTR Falken is about 10 secs a lap faster and better on tyres slightly, it's just a bit boring (and isn't matte pink haha). Laps are under 8.30 as well, woop

No headset for me though, will just message while in the pits instead lol, anyway; Lexus IS-F Racing Concept, final answer Chris ;)
 
I just hope someone picks that car! Is a great car for this!

Ok spill the beans what is the best car to use ?
 
I dunno.... One of the Super GT cars probably, but thats kinda not cool since the min weight is set at 1,300. I'm using an Infiniti G37, tuned by the HEP people in Japan. Won the Gran Turismo award in 2008
 
I found the NSX LM car very fast, but more of a handful, if you feel manly then go for it but I wouldn't try it if I were you lol :) the Falken GTR is a good choice if you have it as well. GT500's are always good as well, even with max ballast, but I'm sick to death of racing them and fancied something else :P
