Does anyone else get hooked on a car/track combo and just do it over and over, shaving seconds and fractions of seconds off.

I've been hooked on GT One Road Car on Complex String. No matter what I do when I play I always do several laps of this. Last year when I was still playing GT2 it was Cerb LM on Deep Forest.

What's your obsession, if any.
 
My obsession is the Viper Team Oreca @ Deep Forest II.
That is by far my favorite car/track combination.

I often try to improve my best lap time, even during another competition.
 
I guess the only one I consistantly go back to now and then is Escudo @ Smokey Mountain.

The rest are weekly obsessions based on the current comp of the week.

Mustang SVT - Laguna Seca
Spoon S2000 - Laguna Seca, Midfield & Seattle
ZZII - Grand Valley
RGT - Grand Valley, Seattle & Deep Forest
350z - Complex String, Seattle, Laguna Seca & Deep Forest

My ZZII has pretty muched bottomed-out on HP from age but with fresh oil I can hit between 1'13.000 and 1'14.000. No I don't have a sharkport. Not too impressive but it is fun.
 
I don't have a digital camera so I will the photo devolped so there is no point me entering enless you trust me with my times.

Out of interest what's your best time on Midfield with the Castrol supra?

I can't remember I'll check tomorow it was something around 30 seconds.

Can I assume the remaining 2.1% is the formula championship? Do you plan on using the ROAD-to-RACE .ini mod for it?

:D Yeh I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to even ENTER the F-1 Series w/Road car, much less WIN it!!!! Have tried a coupla races w/GT-1 RACER but w/my skill level cannot keep up even tho I know others have done so. Now know I can use the ZZII after discovering it's listed as a "Racer" but again a lack of talent will leave my "quest" on hold for a while longer...UB57
