This game is essentially the re-birth of 4x4 Evo with awesome graphics from 1C Company.

Check out the first two trailers:

You can also Visit the website.

The only thing that sucks: it's only for PC and Xbox...I guess I'll have to get my PC running better so I can play it.

Whhhat. Only for the pc and xbox? That's pretty lame, I got pretty excited watching the trailers and then you dropped that bombshell on me. :(

Screamer 4x4 had great physics I thought, and the gameplay was challenging. It was pretty limited as to what you could do and the graphics were lacking though. Fun game, but it got boring quickly. Off Road Drive looks pretty promising. Hopefully it's got similar crawling and trial-type driving modes.

I know. I was watching the trailers and was like "I want this. I hope it's on the..." then the "Coming soon to Xbox 360 and PC" thing came up, and I went, "CRAP! That sucks!"

1nsane is also based on these championships. 1nsane is still the best off-road game (for me personal). The gameplay is in-cre-di-ble.

Hopefully this game has about the same level of gameplay.

Resurrecting this thread 'cause I can and I don't want to get yelled at for starting multiple threads about the same thing.

But, I downloaded the Russian demo ('cause it's a Russian company that makes the game) and the icon for it said 4x4 3 and something in Russian and at first, I thought it was 4x4 Evo 3. But...it's not. Off Road Drive, is apparently the third installment in a Russian series called "Full Drive." But the good news to this is that Full Drive 2 had licensed trucks from GMC, Cadillac, Hummer and more.

Here's the trailer for 2007's Full Drive 2: Hummer:

And, before you asked, I can navigate the menus in the demo for FD3 just fine, but it crashes when I start the game.

I had a look on the forum and apparently there's no free roam, no damage (not even mechanical) and too much grip in 2wd. If you manage to flip the truck (which apparently is hard to do), it autoflips back on it's wheels.

All reasons not to buy, if it comes out. People on the forum are saying that's there is a disturbing lack of news on their facebook page and on the forums.

It's a shame really. I've been waiting for a long time for a proper simulation 4x4 game.

Looks fun... for a PC game.

I'm not big on this kind of sport, but I do like Rock Crawling and Bike Trials, which is kind of similar.

Just tried it.

It's screamer 4x4 with better graphics and physics (I'm not entirely sure about the physics though). Not many steering wheels are supported. No Fanatec, no Thrustmaster, no G27. There is support for the G25 which is probably the same as having support for the G27.

If you go off track or off a cliff, you car will be reset on the track, similar to an arcade game.
Probably no damage ==> visual as mechanical.

As I never used screamer 4x4, I still have the game and I never use it. I will not make the same mistake when I bought screamer 4x4 and will not buy this one either.

The menu is in Russian, so I can't comment on options etc... .

What a letdown. I really was hoping for a new 4x4 Evo type game. I guess niche games just don't stand a chance anymore.
