GT5 was released on November 25th 2010. It took until January 17th 2012 for car pack 3 dlc and Speed Test dlc version early 2.0x or something. PD aren't forced to repeat the long time frame if they "were" to release something like a Speed Test. Just thought i'd put it out there we're still only on 1.14. I don't know how far away a Spec 2 update is if there is even one. We could still have a load more 1:00 version updates yet.
How far into GT5's life, did they release SSRX and the speed test pack? Also has anyone tried the new MoTec data analyser yet? I read it give numerical G's now. Does it have a live time system?

Judging by how fast the updates are coming out nowadays I predict that if a speed test is to be released that it will happen soon, my current prediction is the December update with the Chaparral 2X will be the 1.15 update and the following update will be spec 2.0, I am not positive about this but it doesn't seem to far fetched after all the one year anniversary of GT6 is coming up so that would be a great addition. If a speed test is released I call dibs on running the leaderboard
It took over a year last time because they had to design and render the SSRX track. Implementing a timing system was the easy part. SSRX is already in GT6, there is no reason why drag racing support isn't here yet...
The data analyzer is actually very useful for tuning against bog or turbo lag. It's a different approach but it has smoothed out my sv 09 and r8 lms, both are a pain to get out of the launch gear.
