thanks;) weight high as possible so I get more HP. upated my tune ^^

Holden @ AI is crap! need to get the right grid... any comments on my tune just by looking at it?

I would guess you could have more turn, your ride height is very low, your dampers very stiff, and for a V8 Torque monster even your rear springs are pushing stiffness a little bit, meaning possible bad rearward weight transfer. That could be why you rear toe is so high, to combat the sliding from wheelspin gained from rear suspension settings and ride height.
Your front toe is interesting, I've been having trouble sticking the nose into corners myself, and was pondering a more positive rear toe for my tune. However I don't want to make braking for turn one twitchy and difficult. What's it like for you?

EDIT:
new improved times (but will try more)

lap 2: 1:53:887
lap 3 : 1:53:326

and i dont think tuning should be allowed, because it makes a big difference for us who dont now how to do it right, sphinx should make a setup wich everybody had to use in that way we could se who`s really the best driver and not the best to do the right setups, anybody agree ??

You could just try my tune?

Edit: Woops sorry double post, forgot I had just posted a few moments ago, past midnight and everything.

And a sore bum.

thanks for good comments on my tune:tup:

Holden @ I dont know the much about tuning, just do it on feel. I think its very stable. and I feel my high rear camber has something to do with that..? and braking turn 1 is no problem aslong I hit braking point.

new times :sly:

div 1 ,DFP

lap 2 1.50.909
lap 3 1.50.923
total time: 3.41.832

Man you just keep on improving:tup: what's next early or mid 1.50's

wow. On last nights attempt, i was 8th at start of 2nd lap, 2nd at start of 3rd lap and first before bus stop. I must need a better line up.

My usual plan of attack in these challenges is to do what I can with minimum amount of changes, and once I have max'd out or near to it based on my ability, I then start to make adjustments. This method then shows me where the improvements are coming from. 👍

Nice way, that's how it suppose to be anyways ;)
I usually rush into things and tune it right away, I have some idea on GEARS and how they should be just by looking at the HP and Torque Curves :)

Yer see!!! It's happened again. I scoot round 1 sec per lap quicker, and some f#ggin' hero (Prudent) goes and raises the bar again.
Amazing laps dude 👍

Anyway - latest result from Pendle Towers;

GTP_DukeOfPendle
DFP
Div 3 Bronze

L2 1'53.081
L3 1'53.540

Okay, since people have been threatening to take my pet goldfish hostage if I don't come up with a tune for this event, here it is. ;)

prudentbear @ share your times:)

I set my best time on my last run yesterday evening just before I was physically dragged from my cockpit and didn't have time to check the replay and write down my lap times.

I'm away from the PS3 until late on Sunday night so you'll have to wait until then I'm afraid. Laps 2 and 3 were nothing special though - both slower than yours.

Hopefully I'll improve a bit more once I've sorted the suspension and if I get another lucky run.

You're looking like the man to beat! 👍

Just done a 1'47.786 on L2.

Run was dirty from last lap. So 1'50, can easily be beaten. I am finding it is in the timing as to when you meet cars. I had passed everything by the time I reached the bus stop on lap 2.

i submitted my final time today, and i will just have to wait and see how far it got me.

I know how you feel. I have been at it since 5 o'clock, and that is my first clean run.

I started with NLxAROSA's set up as a baseline & did some tweaking to suit my driving style & came up with these times on a clean race,
Lap 2= 1:52.778
Lap 3= 1:52.850

If you run a 1'47.. post the replay.. I won't believe you otherwise.. :D ;)

board updated

I must say that thankfully a lot of you race addicts are reading this thread quite well and are following my guidelines for posting splits/laps accompanied by division and controller info 👍 thanks a lot for that.

For redsuinit I had to visit Jerry's Registry thread to find out he's in Div3. I don't mind doing that for now but be sure I won't make a habit of it. Even bolder, in the new guidelines for the leaderboard there'll probably be a passage that posted splits will be ignored if not completed by division and controller info. I hope you all understand :)

There's still alot of good , fast drivers to post their times from each division, that's scary.

Have a feeling you got a sick time on wait timppaq! just like quali, you wait until last minute and BANG;)

About that 1.47 you must have had one hell of a slipstream with that sixaxis :dunce:

FINALLY! I have done a genuinely clean race. I saved five replays, each one a little cleaner and quicker than the previous...always with a little rub with another car or a brush with the wall just putting me off submitting it lest it be disqualified, but after probably twenty full attempts at a clean race I've done it.

L2: 1'53.526
L3: 1'52.769

Not stellar laps by any means but when I first started I couldn't get under 1'55 so I'm happy. Not sure how they compare to other division 3 gold drivers. Used Paul (nd4holdenspd)'s TLD setup.

Spend the first lap getting past a couple of Skyline coupes and catching up to a pack of Evos and Elises, spent much of the second lap holding off said Elises in the infield where they were destroying me on corner speed, then spent the remainder of the second lap passing everyone else on the oval section. The third lap was competition-free!

Anyway, now to submit the result to Sphinx :D

P.s. I broke the 1'50. with a 1'47. Then went into the third lap and cocked it up on turn one. :grumpy:

1'47? :scared: I could try for the rest of my life and not get near a time like that. I honestly don't know how some people are capable of anything like that...

It is in the timing and where cars are on the track. It was a dream lap, I was able to drive flat out at all points and caught cars just at the right time. I was going 188 mph over the start finish line and then lost control under braking for turn 1. My gear settings are fantastic also. :)

Sorry Timpaq, I do not have a replay as when I crash or touch a wall or AI, I just restart. If I repeat the feat I will make sure I get the replay for you. I can see my times tumbling all the time, so I expect to do it again.
