By was I getting the XP and Credit multiplier earlier today, and now I am not? I'm new to the online part of GT5. Is it only for the original time you log in that day?

It should be on for the whole day, until midnight..

Then I'm getting screwed somehow.

But you must log in everyday consecutively to keep the streak going. But if you miss a day it restarts at 10% bonus.

Whan a race finishes, see if a blue 200% is in the top right hand corner when you recieve the credits. 👍

There was earlier today, now there isn't. :(

Are you on a different account?

Also if you are not logged into psn you will not get any bonus.

I am logged in, yes on my account. I don't know what the heck is going on here.

I had this happen to me... (Recently had PSN issues) and I lost being logged in (got my 200% earlier that day) and after being offline it quit giving me the bonus, even though I did back online it didnt give it back. The next day it picked back up like nothing happened and I had my 200% again.

That day I lost most desire to actually play the game, pretty much traded and left the game...

That is exactly what is happening. I know after having the bonus, it feels like a waste of time playing for half the credits and XP.

I think you can only use it for a certain amount of races each day and if you are grinding seasonals you don't have to be logged in to PSN (start the race then log out of PSN) as long as you stay on the one track.

This used to happen when 2.0 was first introduced but they patched it in 2.01, I hope it hasn't come back again somehow :S

If you get disconnected you loose the log in bonus until the next day, even if you re connect to PSN. This can easily be fixed by going to the XMB menu, changing the time zone so that the clock is just before midnight and entering the game and wait for the stroke of midnight. You have to change the time zone and not adjust the clock.

That is what it is. My PS3 was hooked up wirelessly, and I lost connection. Now I hooked it up wired. We will see how it goes. Thanks for everyone's help!!!

Did you just make this up?

It seems that if your connection drops, you'll lose the bonus multiplier, but only if you leave the current race. Most of the time you're going to want to do this in order to check the UCD, so it's a bit of a pain, to say the least. Next time it happens to me, I'm going to test out Vegard's suggestion.

Just log back into PSN before leaving the event and loading the GT Life menu. Then you won't lose the bonus in the first place. Of course I suppose this wouldn't apply if you get logged out while racing online.

Any connection error to GT5 servers Or PSN will wipe your bonus for that day.
The only way not to lose it. Is to quit the game Via XMB instantly there is a connection problem and before the save game kicks in. Once back out of GT5, login to PSN again then reload GT5. Once the save game is triggered You lose the bonus for that day untill 12AM as it saves the 100% back to the save.

Any time outs Caused by ISP failure to connect to GT5 will also cause the same effect during Resumed endurance race saves. There will not be any warning that the dial home failed when GT5 loads the race, it will just jump back into the race and after the race completes you will lose part of your bonus % for the next races...

That's not true. I get disconnected all the time and I keep it even when I log back in.

So it (login bonus) "kicks in" after midnight ? If I'm not mistaken, the trade limit resets at 7pm ET, right ?

They (login bonus and trade limit) should kick in and reset at the same time.

Yes 7pm ET is reset now and Midnight is daily login

Im not so sure about them together... it would get kind of odd and I like reset at 7pm... I could do 2 days of trading in one day (actually within an hour) and it would be odd to get daily bonus at 7pm in my opinion.

Seriously? You lost most desire to play, traded the game, and now don't play? All over a glitch that took away your 200% pay for a day?

Man!! Please let me know if you are ever comming to my store! I don't want to have something sitting on the shelf backward causing me to loose your business! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol... No, I just stopped for that one day... Logged back in the next day and got my bonus and went back to playing... I think that day I did a few license tests to try and get a higher trophy, but I didnt do any events

This happens to me quite a bit. I think it is something to do with the connection dropping out mid game (I use wi-fi).

Pretty frustrating but it isn't that big a deal now that credits and xp are so easy to come by.

Glad to hear you are still playing. It would be a shame to loose someone over such a small thing!
