I feel at this point I should mention that in Europe, the car is called the "Lexus IS200/300".

So if it's "Altezza", it's not Euro.

ok........Famine I don't know if that was just sarcasm.....but, in the states "Altezza" and "Euro" is jargon for a style....Altezza is a distinct altezza look alike..like he posted....any other designs or alterations to the bulb or style...make it a euro

No - we have the same vogue for grafting those effect lights onto the ass end of inappropriate cars. We call it "Lexus lights" - regardless of the origin - in recognition that the first vehicle to utilise those style lights in the UK was the Lexus IS200/300.

Why don't you stop complaining about legitament questions.....This guy came to this forum to look for some opinions and information...we're giving it to him....stop trying to bully new kids around, it doesn't make you "look cool"

Defending the new kid around doesn't either, and starting threads about altezzas/euros surely doesn't either.

euros came out before altezzas, the euros were those all white tail lights with red bulbs, or those clear corners, i remember looking through catalogs 5 years ago when companies were calling them euro lights. then when the car altezza, or is300 came out, companies started making lights similar to that car, so they started calling them altezzas. but now all these companies are like mixing the names up, and even calling those clear corners altezzas, so now its got people confused.

Interesting. What with the Lexus IS200 being available in the UK since 1998 (that's also 5 years ago).
