Ever notice how much the super speedway resembles Nascars Darlington Raceway in S.C.:eek: so why not have a couple for the experience for the kids who live in another country who dont get to see them,it sounds like a good idea (sterling marlin fan here GO 40

It's a decent idea, but they can get Nascar Thunder in other countries too. And they get the specialized Nascar feel.
 
Most Europeans, arn't into NASCAR and as a result don't buy many games, I think if NASCAR was put into GT4 it would add to the global feel to the game and Europeans would give it a better reception in GT4, the big problem with adding NASCAR it'self is the small grid but adding the cars and a mini series based no it would be a nice touch.

Wow...so thats what opening your mouth about something you know nothing about sounds like. Where do I even begin.

Hmmm...plastic bodies. Right. They must use some kind of new age plastic that bends and crumples and acts just like metal. And I guess you can weld this plastic as well. Maybe its because they are made out of metal...god how could you even....plastic...you infidel. And they all look the same right...very observant. They are. This is so you don't get beat by another car, only another driver. And explain to me why you would need headlights on a NASCAR Cup Car. And yes, NASCAR does race at night...at tracks that are lit up with big shiny lights.

Uhhh...have you even seen a nascar race? No I am serious. Have you? I don't believe I have ever seen a race that was five hundred laps? Even if a race was five hundred laps, its a test of endurance, of strength, of skill. Thats something I can respect. Not something I will make some dumb redneck comment about.

Have you ever been in a race, no not street racing in your Honda Civic (I speculate)? Lets take go kart racing for instance. I could go out go kart racing for 3 or 4 hours straight. Its the thrill of comptetion and the fun of it. And go karts don't even go that fast. Now lets take a NASCAR Winston Cup Car capable of speeds approaching 200mph. I wouldn't call 200mph boring. Let Tony Stewart take you around Darlington a couple times. I say that both because you would most likely soil yourself and he would throw you a beating for your "NASCAR is for Rednecks" comment.

Don't talk smack about NASCAR, you obviously know nothing about it. You also don't know that many of these "redneck" drivers as you say, fund charitable organizations that help kids with disabilities for instance??? I would say that gives NASCAR a purpose on that point alone.

Sorry for flaming you but it had to be done.

NASCAR is just no fun. Watching them run around in a circle, oh sorry, oval. nascar only has 4 makes in the first place that would add the entire list of cars.

If you ever look, you will notice there are lots of people holding beers... makes you wonder.

GoKarting is fun if their tracks arn't made of cracked and broken boards. It is the thrill of seeing who can get the inside of the corner to get past someone(unless you have a good cart).

Bristol runs 500 laps. And if they make a 500lap SS or TC looks like i have a very very slim chance of completeing the game
 
why not just have stock cars of the cars they run in nascar, and have a racing mod you can do to them to make em a nascar.... DUH!

well actually i was thinking about this again and i figured that this is really what im asking for
just give me the 4 styles of cars that they use then the actual racing mods so i can try to make them look like the actual nascar cars.
 
This is t anybody in this thread that thinks NASCAR takes no skill and shouldn't be in the game. I would pay to see you drive one of these cars 180+ mph around a oval track. I'm a fan of NASCAR, but I'm nomeans a "redneck". These so called "redneck" NASCAR drivers have no skill? Have you seen an IROC(International Race of Champions)race? There are drivers from other serise that race in cars(much simular to NASCAR(s) at an oval track. Even if they add NASCAR(s) to the game, do you really think they will make you race 500 laps around SS? If you do, I feel sorry for you. Plus its not like theres 10-20 cars that need to be added and are gonna take up space. Its olny 4-5, and if you don't like them, don't use them. See how simple it is.
