Ok, so me and my friend are driving to the Plano mall to meet some friends. Afterwards, we decide to go out and get something to eat in Dallas City which is quite a ways away. So my car and 2 others are traveling down the high towards Dallas when not 1, not 2, hell, not even 10, but an amazing 15 exotic and sports cars race by! 15!

And they weren't little sports cars. All time Supercars, and high performance!
This is what I saw.

Lamborghini Countach
Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster (Targa top on)
Lamborghini Murcielago
Lamborghini Gallardo
Ferrari F50 (Black)
Ferrari F40 (yellow)
Ford GT
Ferrari Testarossa
Porsche 911 GT2
Dodge Viper RT-10 (Red w/ yellow wheels!)
Porsche 911 GT3
Aston Martin DB7 GT
Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
Aston Martin Vanquish '04
Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0

So, anyways, I decide to follow. Now these guys are all halling ass. Now I guess they were all together b/c they all had a E.S.C.T. sticker on the back. It was a small sticker that looked a little home-made. Anyways, as I speed up to catch up, my friends in the other 2 cars call me and say, "WTF are you doing? You know how fast you're going?" I look down. I'm doing a 125 MPH, the faster I have now ever gone. I'm doing 125, and these guys are still pulling away. After about 5 minutes, they're barely visible, but I notice them pulling off the highway.Even better, right where we need to get off. But it got bad. I couldn't find them. Naturally, in Dallas City, it can't be hard to get away that fast.

So by now, I'm actually pissing of me buds in the other cars by actually spending 30 minutes looking for these guys around the city. I even ended up searching a few car garages going from 1st floor to the top. My friends though stayed with me. They got even madded after 20 minutes, because only I know where this restraunt. They think I'm pulling a joke, and are about to leave me, and go somewhere else. My friend, Chris, who was sitting next to me the whole time seemed to be the only one who enjoyed this. Ok, I finally give up, and start driving towards the restraunt and Chris lets my friends know. So about 4 blocks away, guess who drives by going the other direction? the E.S.C.T. guys! I pull into the turn lane and shoot down after them. My friends aren't that mad, and they think I'm taking them towards the restraunt. Good thing is, its not easy to speed in Dallas around 11:50 A.M. I actually end up spending 45 minutes, (you heard me) 45 minutes chasing these guys. I find out soon that they're not all together, and each guy ends up going seperate routes yet catching back up and then doing all over again like a game! I decide to chase the F50, and quickly lost it in traffic. The 360 CS comes by and I give chase. He turns and loses me. I finally settle on the GT, and manage to stay with him.

After nearly an hour and half of chasing these guys, they finally pull onto a street that goes into a dead end. However, it used to be a full street until the Dart Train was built in, so there's a big parking lot at the end next to a really big Outback Steak House. They pull into it. Naturally, my friend's manage to stay with me, and soon catch up. We decide to eat here instead of the other place we could have been at 1 hour ago. Well, we have ourselves a big party. Well, I see the ESCT guys sitting at a big table. What do I do? I go over, ask for a seat and sit down and talk.

These guys said they had been together for about 7 years, and that the club was local one in Plano and Dallas. I asked one of them (they said they didn't have a President) if they were the only members. They said no. Believe it or not, there are 43 other cars in that club. I asked the same guy what ESCT stood for.
He told me, "Exotic & Sportscar Club of Texas." Many of the members weren't from Plano. My friends decide to go to a local club right down the street (to fill you guys in, this same street is known for partys, clubs, and that.) Well, Chris and I head over to where they're at. At that moment, it was 8:00 P.m. At 12:00 A.M (friend's all over the street at clubs), and I count a total of 33 cars! All are from Sports cars to High performance exotics! Even a S7! Knowing me, I go over to the S7 guy. He lives all the way in Galveston, but as a Vacation home in Hawaii.
Figures. Later on, Chris and I come across a Carrera GT. And more!
Well, its 3 A.M. Time to go. I ask the ESCT guys were they meet, and they said here about twice a month. Most of these guys work and I even got a full car list of every member! All 58 cars!Turns out, there's 60, 2 of which belong to the man who started it. I asked for their website, and they said they didn't have one nor did they intend to. They don't really want to be a big well-known club.
I asked them where they meet next, and it turns out they'll be at the Plano Mall on top of one of the car parks! I asked them, "You know its Christmas Day, right?" and they said Excatly! They'll meet there, and go down town outside the Convention Center. They said to be there at 4:30 A.M to 5:30 A.M. at the car park. Normally, they said, they don't other people unregitered join them, but they'd make an exception. This is going to be a badass Christmas Present!

BTW, Chris brought a video camera.

Ok, that's what happened today. I'm sorry if I didn't sum it enough, but I felt I couldn't leave out the details. I probaby did. No McLarens though, which is quite alright considering on what I found out.

Well, sorry the probably one of the longest posts in GTP History.
Feel free to comment, and Chris will be bringing the video camera.
My other friends probably won't come which is ok. They just partyed and got drunk.

It sounds like you had an amazing time. It must have been incredible to be driving down the freeway & all of the sudden dozens of supercars fly by. I would have gone as fast as I could just to keep up.

No, Mike_Rotch owns that record.

It was, and Saturday is probably going to be better. They like to speed, that's for sure. I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up.

OH god, no one get me started on how many times I chased those guys through that city to lose them, go after another, lose them, over and over.

I'd have said my scientific deconstruction of a Creationist website in the Opinions forum was a contender. It took 45 minutes to type and format.

So... shall we discuss doubling the speed limit on public roads, in the middle of the day, with your friends in the car next?

Oh and sorry I didnt get to read all of your post. I am just tired right now and can't sleep!
*EDIT* I forgot to ask for the video! :D

Well, I routinely go double the speed limit & there's nothing wrong with that. If there are no police around then it's not dangerous to speed.

Heh, a few months ago, there was a Lamborghini meet in Toronto, and the 401 was riddled with Lambos!

LMAO if there are no police around its not dangerous to speed? Are you crazy man? What is it like just becuase there aint no cop around I can go 120 MPH without taking the risk of killing someone? Please Explain to me how it is not dangerous to speed when no police around? Or were you just joking around? If you were joking around then sorry. :O

I take it that guy with the Ford GT didn't get the recall notice?

So, if you hit a pedestrian when you are doing 120mph when there's no police around then they'll be fine, but if the police are watching then that person will die?

People say some stupid things on this website, but congratulations, that's the stupidest thing yet. :dunce:

Well its just brand spanking new news so he might have got the notice probably right now or something. But you know he still has time to send the GT back in. Its not like they have to go and turn it in right now. I bet he is abbusing the **** out of it right now.

If you're suggesting that if I think it's okay to speed, that I also think it's okay to run over pedestrians, then that would make you the stupid one. Seriously, on the road that I live on, it slows down to 19 mph by a mild turn. I always double the speed limit when it's ridiculously slow like that.

Quick Nick: You've earned signature real estate.

Lemme get this straight here.
The 125mph doesn't bother me. It just doesn't and I think you should have gone faster if possible. You had the perfect oppertunity if the group of "supercars" were going that fast. In a group that big, your chance of getting pulled over is minimum.
Anyway. So you decided to chase these guys for an hr and a half, pushing your car at high speeds the whole time. It seems odd that you didn't have to stop to get gas.
Next point is that your friend in your car WOULDN'T care because it's not his gas money being spent.
Furthermore, it just prooves that you kids have nothing better to do than spend a whole day stalking some rich dudes. Totaling it up, you spent like 17 hrs driving around/going to clubs. Wierd.

Ohh...and am I wrong in thinking that you're supposed to meet them on Christmas day at the top of a parking garage at 4:30 AM? I honestly wouldn't be surprized if you come back on here saying "they didn't show".

And I thought I was a little nuts trying to drive near other Mazda owners to see if they are enthusiasts.

Whew, I may have to make room in my sig for that, Nick. And to think, you're already in there once.

Wow, now I'm famous. You should have quoted me in my font, though.

Sorry for jacking your thread, McLaren. Now, lets get back on topic & quit flaming Quick_Nick for being too quick.

Pffft.

Back on topic, that must've been a great day man! :D Any chance of uploading the videos?

Oh... and make sure on Christmas Day you go there and ask for a ride. Lucky bastige! :D

 Mod's should start using this when locking threads.

Oh and to stay on topic....um...Speeding in public roads and doing 120 MPH is dumb and dangerous. I admit my brother did this but only on a road where there is NEVER anyone since we have been on this road at least over 500 times in the last two years or so. I still admit it is dangerous.

Sounds awesome.

Maybe you should ask for a ride next time.

Yeah, like some random rich twit will gladly take some kid for a ride in their car.

Honestly, most of those guys didn't seem to happy about 2 17 year olds walking around with a video camera.

Espcially one 1 guy...He had a crowbar in his hand. Looked like he was ready to protect his Porsche to the death...Literally.

I'm still trying to get Chris to get that video as well.
Also, @ Mazkid, we didn't plan to go chasing supercars, as Chris and I were the only ones who knew the area, and my friends in the other cars were more focused on eatig that chasing. Unfornately, I ended up getting some really pissed off phone calls this morning from them. It actually turned out, in a coincendence, that I got a full tank of gas before leaving. We all did.

Honestly, the speed limit is 60 MPH on the highway. However, after you pass Dallas, it reaches about 75MPH. The traffic, the sign stays the same. Anyways, I usually do about 70-75 MPH in my car through the highways. And once in the city, I don't exactly call 20-30 Speeding. I think I'll skip the garage and head over to the convention center. Chris, though is taking his little CRX.
Won't that be a sight. They'll lose him if anything. That car of his barely reaches 100MPH.

@EH, I didn't know anything about the call back. I guess not. I will ask him about it.

Ok, we all know when you stop next to a Lamborghini at an intersection, the engine is going to rumbling, an you'll most likely be shaking. Now multiply that with a few of them. I'm going to have a h*ll of a headache. I had one the first time a Diablo stopped next to me, and in about 3 seconds took off. Oh...I get one just thinking about that.
As for getting rides, I seriously doubt. After getting a Gallardo ride at TMS for that small Lambo meet which costed me $150 for just 2 laps, and I had nowhere near for a Murcielago ride, 2 laps=$300! Every other lap for the Gallardo was $50, and Murcielago was $100. Too much. I don't plan on bribing any of the guys though.
However, the best chance of a ride I got is with 2 guys.
Chuck, who owns a Porsche 911 Turbo Canbriolet, and Jacob, a out-of-college guy with a BMW 850. I've ridden in a 840, but the V12 of a 850 sounds so much better.

I do doubt a bit that they won't show. Exactly why Chris is going there, and I'm going to the convention center. :)

PS: Chris is extremely bad with photos. I still have to get the ones from TMS.

I can't quote you in my signature in "your" font, as I'm only allowed 6 lines of text. One line from you more than fills that quota.

And it isn't for being "too quick", but it rhymes with it.

This is the second-stupidest thing I've ever heard. The stupidest, "I'm the blackest Asian in Maryland," suffered a real challenge from this today.

You're an asshole - but you're from Saratoga, so it's given.
