230 now. That is either a team account, of someone who does nothing but eat, sleep, and game.
Probably just,
eat/game.

The only challenge for platinum in GT5 is really just the "gold standard" trophy. Other than that, everything is natural progression, and a lot of time that's needed to level up, collect 1,000 cars, etc. The GT-R lap time might be tough for some, but to many, it's do-able. It's not like there are trophies that are based on pure luck (except maybe win by .01 trophy), or would require insane online achievements, or something.
I think a lot of people can platinum the game, but it might only be the people that has a wheel because of the X1 challenge.
Also possibly the first to hack all the trophies for GT5?
You have over 3 posts per day, he has 0.13. Also I'd hate to see what happens when you see some of the people on here with over 1,000 posts.
You forgetting one major issue. This guy could not do all those platinums all by himself.
We all love racing games so we play racing games, few love fighting games so they play Tekken, Soul Calibur and other, and few love sport games like ISS or Fifa so they play those games. They have some skills that we might not have, cmon!! Seriously who thinks now that one person could do all those platinums. He must be a cyborg. Ho human is good at every video game, we all have some preferences, me for example love racing games so i play them, GT5, Shift, Supercars, Ferrari, yes those are mine favorites, but that guy had almost all best games from different shelves. Sport games, fighting games, racing and many many other.
Only way one account !!! could have so many platinums is when a bunch of guys plays a lot of games on more then 1 play-station 3 console but with the same account created on those consoles.
Now try to share your account with like 10 of your friends, give them your account and tell them, hey guys lets play those games on just one account so we could have more trophies than others !!!
This is the only way he, no not he!! They could do this, other way is simply some trophy hackbut i don't believe that. So my main theory is than more then one ps3 shares one psn account. Probably Mikey plays fighting games like tekken, Joey play racing games like Shift and GT5, Timmy plays sport games like Fifa and ISS ....
Get it now ??
The Obsession - Quest for platinum: almost there!
- Finally golded my final challenge, the vettel challenge at suzuka, after 2 days of practice
- now have all golds in licenses, challenges, all b-spec, and all a-spec except for final 24h nurburgring
- only 2 trophies left: a-spec level 40 and of course platinum
- currently halfway through level 39 so about 4,000,000 exp to go, or 2 days worth of auto-grinding to get to level 40
- having gotten the all golds trophy due the the b-spec completion, I think I will get the platinum upon merely reaching a-spec level 40. I will however have to gold the 24h nurburgring just for the satisfaction of golding everything possible
I think the hardest trophy to get work-wise, i.e. no skill involved, is the 1000 cars...I gave up on buying go-carts as it was very time consuming...because of the grinding I was doing for reaching a-spec level 40 it was easy to reach $20million on numerous occasions, and after throwing money away at really expensive cars, I figured why not apply the grind to purchasing: turns out with a usb keyboard and "enter" pressed, you can buy the acura nsx (the 1st appearing car at the dealership) in auto mode...at $80K, $20M buys you 250 cars, and at 35s per transaction leave the autogrind running for about 2 hours for a whoping 250 cars...in a few days you easily get to 1000 for the trophy...rest of the work was selling my 700 or so nsx'es to reduce garage clutter, and I could only do that manually, each car taking less 10 seconds to sell, but still a good exercise in patience.
Some may question to point of going for platinum and simply look at it as an insane activity...I would tend to agree, really, but would add that once you start going for this goal, it doesn't take long for it to become an OBSESSION, and then you're hooked.

Tedious is not hard.Wrong. I've had the Gold Standard trophy for a week. It wasn't all that hard. What's hard is the tedious task of buying 1000 cars and finishing 500 days of Bspec as well as reaching lvl 40 in Aspec.
Tedious is not hard.
There are several tedious trophies but the only hard trophy is the gold standard due to Vettel. The all gold in Vettel is arguably impossible for DS3 users.
You sir, are a genius. Ive had all the trophies except 1000 cars and lvl 40 for weeks now, but gave up after the menotomy of buying 200 karts. This will motivate me to continue my quest for platnum.
Blimey, he's dedicated!
He hasn't synched the trophy yet according to the PSN:API feed, but you can see that he's probably got it anyway from the header trace (link).
Amazing!!!
Someone doesn't get laid...
Hmm, not trying to be smart or anything, but this comment perhaps borders on being offensive.

Umm, no... It's a joke. We're all grown men here...
OK, got the platinum guy, and as suspected before getting 100%...I still need to race (and gold) a-spec 24hr nurburgring.
