You should never leave home without one.

Engine valve as in exhaust and intake valves. Thirty-two valve V8, 24 valve V6, etc.Delirious XVIIThis is going to sound dumb...but what exactly is an engine valve, and how big are the ones in most cars?

MistaYI've always said this, but it seems fairly appropriate here.
People from Birmingham will buy anything.
Edit: GTP IS SERIOUS BUSINESS

I had an engine mount as a paperweight from an '06 IS 250, it's about half the weight of the usual Lexus engine mounts. It also has a smooth, mirror-like finish for the bolt hole.BlazinXtremeThat is a pretty big valve I must say, hell engine parts would be a cool desk decoration.
Anderton PrimeDoes this give me the go-ahead to start a thread every time I see something "interesting" on eBay?
GT4_RuleLets do that!
I want a camshaft as a paperweight![]()
keefScrew that! I have a piston from a Top Fuel dragster. I aquired it last year at the U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, along with a conecting rod. That rod is a work of art, all shiny and enourmous. No idea what it's made of, not aluminum because of its weight, not steel, because its too light and wouldn't work in a Top Fuel motor amyway. It's some alloy, and it weights about 3 lbs. I'd say it's about 10 inches long. Anyway, my friend has that and I have the piston, which once created around 1000 horses. It's 1 of 8 in an 8.2L engine, it has an anodized aluminum skirt (It's green, and my dad's a machinist, so he could tell), a steel top that's about 1/2 inch thick, and a nice JE Pistons stamp inside.
