How are you going to pressure them? Threaten to not buy the game? I don't think they will care much about a few fruity fans "pressuring" them.
I don't see what a petition is going to make them do, so what, people want to hear more. I think PD already know that, they clearly have reasons for not saying much - probably to stop you all ranting about the next inevtiable detail and surprise you.
