Okay, i know LGForce is running a Tsukuba time attack, but in the dry. I just thought of launching a one make challenge in the Wet Tsukuba Track, in the form of a one make super street challenge series. I dont wanna bore anyone here with my blurbs, so I'll just go ahead with the lowdown.

Track : Tsukuba Circuit-Wet
Car: Spoon Integra Type R, Full Race Suspension, brake balance adjuster, Full Race LSD, and Full Race transmission and clutch. Rear wing is also allowed. All can be set up and dialled in of course. i just thought i'd throw those on here and make life more interesting. like before, you must post your setups that you used for the final time's running, and no traction control is allowed. we should see the times tumble down a bit more now that we've got all these extra components in the car.

So, there they are. Let's show off our driving skills and show off some good lap times. And remember to have fun!

Leader Board

JGDA9RS 1'07.241
Tulok 1:09.628
Santo 1:11.240

jgda9rs 1:14.032
AngelCreator 1:14:620

ps: I deleted the old times since we're running new regulations now. so we just have to start over again.

You really like those integra don't you, I think I'll give this try if I have time.

i do love that car. so much it's disgusting  hope to see more people here. thanks for considering this LOON. i'll give you a +rep for being the first to post here :D

Here goes.....

T1 is 18.571

T2 is 42.338

Total lap time is 1'18.494

F R
Ride Height 91 98

Shock absorbers 5 6

Camber 1.0 0

This car was pretty fun to drive. On this wet track you had to be careful of spinning tires in 1rst and 2nd, and braking earlier, way early. Other than that it was a nice drive.

Compared to some people here my times probably suck but o'well, I'm classified as a Div 3 racer.

ok. i will put mine in later on too. we need more people to join us here. i wanna see just how far we can take that car in that course. i'm guessing we'll be seeing some pretty tight racing here. keep it up guys.

Neat idea, you sure love the Integra don't you. I am sure if I did something like this it would be an S2000. :D

I will give it a try when I get some time. 👍

thanks for the interest guys. i do hope to see from you guys soon. I tried my very first run, and all i can say is it is very interesting. there's almost no room for mistakes. i think the International License test should have had this on one of their challenges. the Integra R, being a front wheel drive, is very prone to understeer in these conditions,so i guess throttle control is very important and braking distance is very important. my first run was a 1:18.957 then i finally got it up to a 1:16.893 after changing the set up.

Here are my sector times:

T1: 18.369
T2: 41.475
Final : 1:16.893

Suspension set up :
F R
Ride Height
95 95
Shock Absorbers

Camber Angle
3.0 2.0

I'm hoping to see more people enter here, as i think this is a very interesting challenge. i'm also thinking of changing the rules a bit and adding a full race suspension and maybe a brake balancer. what do u guys think ?

having a full racing suspension would help a lot, so would the brake balancer.

Sorry this took so long. Anyways here is my time.

I have never driven a front wheel drive on the wet before. I was surprised
how you can make the car turn with the throttle. It's cool:tup:.

Well there you go, my time, setup and what I thought about the car.

wow, i thought i had the car right on the limit on my last run. guess not. i have finally decided to run full race suspension and brake balancer on the car. this should make it more interesting, and could help bring the times down a little bit.

Cool, I'll get working on a new time right away.

i hope you read the introduction again. i added the full race suspension, brake balancer, full race transmission and full race lsd. i'll turn this into a graduate wet weather driving school and add more stuff as the times progress :D

I didn't see that, so we can change everything except the flywheel and racing brakes?

yes sir. and no engine components are allowed to be changed. so just whatever's mentioned on the intro :) I'm just busy trying out shots for the photo tournament, after i get my entry in, i'll get back to this and start posting times again. hope to hear from you and other people soon! have fun!

Ok I will try this again, should be fun:).

Edit:
Ok here is my wright up:).

nice work angel. I havent tried it out yet with the other stuff on the car, been busy preparing photo's for the comp entry. but great work on the times!

ill try this tonight cause it look very funny and i love the spoon integra even if the spoon civic is soooo much cooler :P so only the engine ,the flywheel and the brake that we cant touch?

if you guys do some type r race ill join cause type r ROCK
sry for my english...but at least i try

men lol its my first time on a forum and i dont even know where to write lol SRY but i would like to participate in your challenge sounds great

ok now i know lol soo ill try tonight ...and is there only the brake flywheel and engine that we cant touch?
if you guys do a civic type r challenge or something like tat i would be happy to race it cause those car are soooo nice to drive
sry for my enlish but at least i try
later

one thing, if u forget to write stuff on your post, just push the edit button. so you dont end up with three of the same ones. and yes, the flywheel and the braking system plus the engine you can't touch, and also the car has to be spec weight (meaning no lightening allowed), no roll cage and you can run racing tires if u dare. i still have yet to post my times. hope to see from you soon though! i've submitted my entry for the tournament, so i can have time to actually do races again.

I finally got around to playing the game again. So i finally got to try out the new rules, which is much better than the first one. the car was a lot easier to drive, and the gear change is so much quicker than the stock transmission. still a bit of understeer and loss of traction on the exits and under braking, but handling is certainly more improved. i think i agree with angelcreator about the downforce. i think it did make a bit of a difference.
I came up with a time of :

1:14.032

Anyways, here are the settings i used

Suspension Settings

Spring Rates

F/R 12K/10K

RIDE HEIGHT

F/R 89mm/89mm

SHOCK BOUND/REDBOUND

F/R 8/8 8/8

CAMBER ANGLE

F/R 3.2/4.0

TOE

F/R -1/+3

STABILIZER BARS

F/R 4/6

BRAKES F/R 8/10

GEARBOX

  1. 1ST GEAR:3.453
  2. 2ND GEAR: 2.398
  3. 3RD GEAR:1.783
  4. 4TH GEAR:1.388
  5. 5TH GEAR: 1.130
  6. 6TH GEAR: 0.963
  7. FINAL RATIO : 4.785
  8. AUTO SETUP : 9

All of those ran with s3 tires and a semi-racing exhaust and a downforce biased to the front with a setting of 22 front and 20 at the rear. hope to see more times being posted here. let's keep pushing the limit! i know the car can do better, much better, and i hope you guys can help me prove it. even try using racing tires.

You guys are much faster than me, even with all the extra settings I'm still having trouble getting past 1'16.

try mine. if u want u can run racing tires that's fine too, we already have those components, might as well go full blown. that time took me 3 hours to get hehehehe. no one said it was easy  just post your times and settings, maybe i can help you out.

killer time! that's awesome. i dont know if i can beat that. i'll see what i can do. good job LOON!

alright thanks to loon, my money problems are gone and im about to start working on this.
Do the racing tires acyually get less grip or more on wet?

I'm glad everything worked out for you Tulok, about the racing tires, they definetly get more grip on the wet than the sports tires do. And I'm sure they get less grip in the wet than they do in the dry.
