I've taken so much sand in the last 3 races I'm thinking of selling the damn stuff.

Yeah I got punted off into the sand in turn 4 by an evo 10. I was in my evo 9 and I think that when I motored by him on the straight made him mad and when he got me off I went (was in the lead too on the last lap).

Agreed. Not sure who's bright idea it was to go three wide in turn two, but that should have a been a big red flag that things were changing.

I saw that and I got video footage of it. :) Yeah the racing there was a bit choppy. Onwards!

Sphinx - It was nice to see one of us finally take the gold on Suzuka 600pp. Not my night for sure. I should have brought my Ferrari 512. Then again, I may never get good at Suzuka. Hated it in GT4, still hate it now.
 
I would like to thank the GTP'ers on Suzuka 600pp for the past few races, you guys were my ticket to the getaway. My PSN is darweezee in a BMW M3.

Nice videos, Panjandrum! I think the music volume is just about right. I can still hear the car engine and tire effects. Some odd choices, tho. Is that Leonard Cohen on Ferrari 512 HSR -1? :)

Thanks. And yes it is! A few of the other races feature LC as well. Is that an usual choice for race background music? :-))
 
Sorry if I bumped you a few times, GTMunky. The idiots were really affecting my concentration in that race. I was doing everything I could to stay away from them.

No, I don't think it was you. It was pretty clean racing for a while, then people just started getting way too aggressive. There was a little bit of blatant punting, but not a lot. In my opinion, drivers started diving into turns where they had no position to. I'm all for competitive racing, but if you don't have the line, you don't have the line. Ah well...

Sorry about the "tap" in the rear there on HSR a few minutes ago. Good racing between you, me and that s2000. I've raced with that guy driving the s2000 a few times he's clean and fast and its always come down to the lap few turns between him and myself.

Thanks, but not really a deserved win. I'm not having a good night of racing at the moment. racing too aggressively 👎 because I've allowed them to get to me. 👎

Well I thought you were a little rough on the track man. You knocked me aside on your pass, and you knocked a friend of mine off trhe track. (I have video evidence) I congrad you on your win, but please drive with a little more care and control next time.

That bump was a little violent. Its all good though. Drama-Kyd is clean, fast and good. Good race indeed, I hope to race again in there. If not see you at Suzuka 650PP..

It's alright, it's pretty difficult trying to look left and right for other cars with a DFP; ended up missing the brake markers and out braking myself.

I wasn't expecting the 512's to have so much top end grunt. Sometimes spent a whole racing seeing that rear end.

Sorry about that, I'm running no aids without ABS in cockpit view. When I see brake lights when there shouldn't be braking needed or during a corner, I panic and lock the brakes.

Thanks, man. It's cool. I know once things start lagging all bets are off.

Overall, I gotta say the racing has been great tonight. My only complaint has been guys trying to overtake in turns when they clearly don't have the racing line, momentum or the room to cleanly do it. I mean, just wait for a mistake. You usually won't have to wait long. Anyway, that's a huge step up from blatantly being rammed and punted into the sand on purpose.

Is blueferrari?? around here? I was passing him down the long straight when he gave me a PIT maneuver and put both of us into the sand at turn 1. Then he tried it again going through the esses. I gave him a couple of brake checks and he ended up taking himself out. The next race I trailed him the entire three laps cleanly for a very close race. If he's out there, no hard feelings and good racing.

I only raced the 600pp Suzuka tonight. I was soooooo "out of the zone" I decided to call it a night and didn't even do any arcade mode.

But overall I think the driving etiquette was better than average. There were several times I saw drivers going out of their way not to pass me inappropriately etc. There were a few bad moments, like trying to get around the whacked DB9 driver who was all over the road and impossible to pass cleanly, but other than that I really have no complaints.

I DO wish more that more GTP drivers would use the GTP prefix so we can recognize each other.

Hey sorry about that man. It was a chain reaction. Me and the Lexus IS-F had been playing some killer cat and mouse for several races when he decided that since he wasn't faster, he'd just start punting me off the line. I watched you careen off the track hard. So sorry man. I sure wish we could communicate in the game. Usually I'd stop and get back in behind you but I was just so pissed at dude I kept on hoping to catch him. Never did.

I've often wished the same thing. But I'm pretty sure things would get very, very nasty on occasion...

I've also run into "racecleanmorons". Well, not run into him, but you get the idea...

Thats weird. I've had many, many good clean races with bluferrari. I don't think he's on here.

Good to hear you've had clean races with him. Maybe I encountered an honest mistake and/or a misunderstanding. Either way, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt the next time I see him.
