Which car do you use for the online PP events?

Because I've only got the game 4 days ago I need to find which is good for online races.

I am using a GTR at the momment and positions round from 2-6 overall but I still lose to cars...

Drifting online will get me 6th place at most :dopey:

No just I just wanna find out which car would be great for grip on PP races
I see a lot of EVOs and Scoobys around


To win and drift would only work if I was playing GT4 as I was nearly equal speed to grip :)

But it is impossible to keep control and evade people ramming into you...
 
Is anyone in PAL land still up? I'm growing tired of the NTSC disc and all the punters in the US and am going to switch to the PAL disc if there is anyone who wants to race RWD at Fuji pp600? Anyone? I'll be checking for the next 30mins here.

EDIT: Guess everyone is asleep. I guess I'll stay with the NTSC punters. Until tomorrow everyone.

I'm guessing we'll see even less RWD cars online this time...

Had a quick blast this morning, going back to my favoured EVO X Tuned:tup:

Bonus is it is now a rolling start 👍
 
Mayhem on turn 1 should now be much less of a problem then. Nice.
 
Hahaha! ... here's an interesting thing, looked at the new events and decided to try the intermediate pp700 suzuka just for laughs as I have a few cars around that pp range ... anyway I jumped in the clio in free run straight away hitting flat 2'00 minute laps with ease in next to no time 👍 So i thought why not try 1 race :p

.. no word of a lie here! 1st race with a full grid I never heard of and the grid are nicely seperated going down the straight and most can make turn 1 with the rolling start .. anyway no body drove dodgy against me??? I mean this is a breakthrough or something :scared: I had to work my way past about 6 cars and everyone was playing fair and no attempts at sideswipes or anything nasty, now I am confused :dunce: am I still sleeping and dreaming GT5P and dream posting also or did I just witness a one off freak occurance :crazy:

For intermediate its a decent event with jolly nice blokes driving there :dopey:

Sometimes Ron things happen that are just un-explainable I like to call them Miracles.
 
so are we going to get the normal crew together that used to race late on at night and what tracks are we meeting up at again. it was so much fun about 3 weeks ago.
 
Just heads up for PAL players

in Suzuka 600PP with S1's I was racing a guy named rhondapety[GB] who decided to brake-check me hard as I was going to pass on the back straight, I messaged him about how inappropriate that is and he has now reported me for abuse, not that I care just beaware he doesn't race clean and doesn't like to be told either.
 
Wow the events have changed...

Just played the International Suzuka race... JPN racers are nice and fair... while I had problems with a US player...

Overtaking on the smaller straight in Suzuka he rammed me...whiched ended into a wall and a spin...

end result was 7th....


So where we all racing?
Because theres no more drifting at Fuji for me anymore
