Just when this thread was finally getting back on topic....

I think it is best just to forget about it, race as usual and if you have further problems then just discuss it over PM's, He isn't racing with a GTP tag so it's not like he is representing GTP so it's just a personal thing and it's best to keep it that way.

Enjoy racing and just put that stuff behind you.

I should be on in a few hours for some races 👍


JackingtonGTP and myself were racing again last night in standard STi's, sad part is I pull a side for the faster 600PP cars yet many still just ram and push me off the road. :(
 
If you see JackingtonGTP and myself out there keep in mind we are in standard STI's, Jacks being a 07 STI 538PP mine a 05 STI 529PP, we try to keep out of your way but in corners it is a little hard. :)

Hah, our little battle out the front kind of held "a few" guys up. Other than that time, we've tried our best to stay out the way from the much faster cars. :dopey:

Nice train you guys had there on the first lap, I wondered what you were up to :) It was ok to overtake you cleanly though. 👍
 
Sorry to GTP_Racer_LP been away for 10 days, just turned on ps3 to find everything as changed and that was my first try on Suzuka 600, so wasn't intrested in racing wanted to see the lay of the land....

Don't worry about it. I've got more problems with the host quiting the race :grumpy:

The rubberband effect seems much stronger than before.
When I'm leading at the start of the 2nd lap, and if there is at least one driver way behind the pack, the damn thing kicks in really hard and instantly puts you on N1's.

Not noticed it at all recently, and I've had some pretty big leads with backmarkers 3/4 of the lap behind. I drive the Blitz ER34 in 750PP and tuned Skyline Coupe in 600PP. Haven't been keeping my eye on the laptime but I remember how even if you were in second place before and went up to first you'd notice a difference in grip, lately I really haven't noticed.
 
Racer_LP - Sorry for the crappy driving a while ago, I was at home making lunch and decided to pop in for a race without even doing a free run. Plus, I had my shoes on, which took all my sensitivity on the pedals, as I usually drive barefoot or with socks (at home, of course - in real life, I always have some footwear. Unless I'm going to the beach, but that's a different story...).
Anyway, I kept screwing up everywhere, hope I didn't interfere much with your race. :ouch:
 
Sorry, but I think I need to pass the racing today... First day at work made it for me... :( ..too tired.

Had like 5 or 6 sessions of drift.

I have reached 1 million credits in7 days since I got the game wooo!!!

Yes, it's back and it gets nasty if you're in the lead with someone very far behind.

It really spoils races, because it hinders the overall driving experience. I don't mind when I meet someone that is faster than me. I'm 1 second (per lap) slower, that's ok, I know I need to find that second somewhere. But, as it is, it gets impossible to "refine" my driving. The car's behaviour changes, the braking distances aren't always the same, as it isn't the grip while cornering, etc, etc.

PD, you claim you have a driving simulator in GT. As far as online play is concerned, you sure haven't. RBE is an ARCADE feature. Get rid of it.

I've noticed the RBE on the Suzuka 600 in limited action. It was while I was running toward the front, a couple of times with the lead. Since I'm using an Evo X, I don't have full PP and start toward the front anyhow. It had me sliding off of the second half of Degner into the sand, even with heavy braking going into it. The first corner and Spoon were very nervous. 130R, I was sliding into the overrun area using the same speed as I did while in the middle of the pack. When in the middle of the pack I could carry it and not even hit the right rumble. Also able to make up time quickly from the middle of the pack, back to being able to gain 2-4 seconds on a lap. :banghead: :banghead:

On Daytona 750 Road World Event, I do not notice the RBE at all. :crazy: So that's my online race of choice until the next update.
 
One thing that i hope will be in the august update is the option to not be a host.
Now you have certain people that get appointed a host, but don't have an internet connection that is able to maintain the information flow.
It's stupid if you enter a couple of races after each other and the same host gets appointed time after time and you already know you'll get a disconnect message before the first turn.

I enjoyed this afternoon's races too. Raced against a few GTP-ers, mainly GTP_racer_LP, and managed to beat him once... :) Video uploading...

In one race, I was behind GTP_yannc as he lost the back end and spun. Looking at the video replay I recorded, it looks like the game thought I hit him, but from my point of view as I was driving, I didn't.
