Ah well, my offer expired. Find me at Suzuka 600 PP anyway for a short while.
 
I'm going to go to my bed and do that thing where you close your eyes and rebuil enegy, whatever that it is. See yas tomorrow probably, or the weekend.
 
I'm currently back to driving the Amuse.
If i don't make stupid mistakes while overtaking i always have a good chance at winning.

The setup for my viper is just bad for 750pp races.
 
I use a tuned viper. Don't have access to my PS3 atm. But I'll try to post my humble setting later tonight.

Good for you. You were real slow in the viper, no mistakes, just slow.

Thats why I use the trusty Amuse!

Great seeing you on track tonight dusty:tup: You were on fire in the Amuse S2000 until you started making sandcastles at turn 1:lol: It was kinda funny until I followed you and went off myself:dunce::lol::boggled:

It's weird how when you're close behind someone about to make a move and they fly off the track, I fly off with them:boggled: Does anyone else suffer from this?:scared:
 
I think most people suffer from this.
The problem is that you tend to follow the direction of your eyes.
Not only in games, but also in real life.
You have to train yourself to look for a way around the accident.

The hardest part of the 750pp races is not crashing into other people.
The difference between faster and medium racers shows much more.
I don't know how many cars i've hit from behind mid turn because i misjudged their speed.
Braking at that point doesn't do much good and just insures that i'll be facing the wrong way and still hitting the car in front.

And you're quite fast too vanubermaster. You could keep up good.
Rudi Raser however is in a league of his own.
I have trouble winning from him, and he's driving a car with 15pp less (or even less, not sure).

Had a funny start of a race this evening. I was slipstreaming the Elise in front of me because i wanted to outbrake him in the first turn.
As i was right on his tail he swerved to the right.
I was surprised at that manoeuvre, but quickly found out why he did that when i crashed into the F40 parked on the straight.
Because i was right behind the elise i didn't have enough time to react.

Which car do you use for 750 PP races? I tried Chevrolet Corvette Z06/Tuned, but I don't like it.

Have you tried my setup? I don't like racing anything else anymore. And I win in it pretty often.
 
I drove the Viper in the 700pp races all the time and was pretty competitive but now in the 750pp i am thinking of finally switching cars. I feel as though the car understeers much more now that i've increased the power. That's probably because i'm going faster thru the corners but i feel i have to if i want to stay ahead. The strange thing is that, when i'm in second or third place the car is a dream to drive. It corners perfectly, there is no understeer and i can do a 2.06 laptime on Suzuka without much effort but if i'm in first position it's a disaster. It suddenly feels very heavy and i'm back to driving in the 2.09 region.

So as a result i have brought the power back down to around 500 BHP wich is great as now i usually start at the very front of the grid and i can uphold my driving style.

But i'm still thinking about an alternative car just in case.
I've seen quite an increase in the Amuse S2000 and the Ford GT LM so those won't be it. I'm anti-mainstream :). There's one car i have never seen in a Online race wich i think could have some potential. Ooh, exciting.:sly:

What happend last night on Suzuka? You started out first and remained there thru the first corner, after that i just saw a lot of dust and you were off. I couldn't see if you were pushed off or made a mistake as i was back in 6th place but i figured for myself that you were pushed off so i kinda got the guy back. Hope you don't mind. But i wouldn't have done if i knew you were going to quit the race though wich made me feel sour afterwards.:)

I do it some times. Slipstreaming isn't always good:boggled:

Anyways... I'll start working on the schedule

Champion.:D Shall we race now or something? 500 PP and 600 PP races are awesome battles to be had, and they're finally pro physics!

PS- That 512BB I sent you is really good for 600PP races ;)
 
Wooo hoooo! Shame I can't race right now, i've played a bit too much already today and my eyes hurt, and I will be going to my dad's tommorow :(
 
Bummer, the next race that isn't F2007 and is pro physics is 3hrs away, and that means 03:00 for me. Perhaps I should get in loads of races and get 2mil Cr.
As a side note, I'm going to buy a new Corvette and tune it for standard physics 700 PP. I can only begin to imagine how quick it will be.:drool:

So will anyone race me now?

Preferably at Suzuka 500 or 600 PP. (They are both pro physics now :D) If you need a tune for the new events pop by my garage and I'll hook you up.

Edit: I just had a race with some guy called kaine90 who was in a Mini. (Me in the 147). Damn that Mini has straight line balls :lol: Good race too, I won.

Edit 2: OK JASE72 and AdotF. Suzuka 500 PP is the event. What time shall we press start?:)

10mins past it is. 5mins away from time of post. Look forward to seeing youall there.:) Hope I don't get another "Failed to Connect" message. I just won a race too, but a Focus was reeling me in.
 
If anyone wants too, I'll be driving at the beginner super car class Daytona race (To shoot some video):)
