Those last few races on Suzuka: was it my connection that got me lagging or was everyone lagging?

Yeah, same here. In my first race with you guys i spun before the race even started. My car sat on the straight sideways ghosted out untill the whole grid passed. :grumpy: In the last race i was chasing GTP_Dustdriver and GTP_daan and both of your cars shot off onto the grass and then straight back in front of me :nervous:, and i tapped GTP_daan, sorry about that. 👍

Don't worry about it. We were fighting with Dustdriver for 11th, 12th and 13th. It didn't really matter.

I will remember it though.... :trouble:
 
In one of the races i was battling for first place. I drafted the leader on the long straight, passed him (i thought) and right before the left turn he's suddenly back in front of me.
I had to break hard, lost control and could forget about my race.

edit: in the last race i actually pulled of a clever tactic to keep Rudi Raser behind me :)
Coming out of the spoon curve i didn't press the throttle completely, so that rudi came alongside.
I then floored it so that he was forced to stay next to me.
My car is a bit faster than his in the straight, so without slipstreaming he couldn't get past.
This made it easy for another gtrp driver to slipstream me and get past both of us.

In the left hander i then outmanoeuvred the other gtrp member and reclaimed the lead before the chicane.
Because off al this Rudi was on place 3 instead of 2 and i could gain some time before he was able to get back in second place.

All of this would have been good if i didn't crash in the second lap :(

Well, still made it on place 2 and Rudi somewhere around 5th because of a crash with yet anther gtrp member. (well, they were both in the kitty litter, so i presume they crashed into each other)
 
That was a good night overall. I think I saw just about everyone over the course of the evenng, and had some really good battles with some of you, particularly Sjaak, DD, snoop (as mentioned) and Golgospeed (We waited for each other and drove around at the back after we'd both been knocked off).

EDIT: Forgot I had a couple of battles with GTP_Racer_LP earlier. 👍

Just left playing at Suzuka,by far the worst racing ever.:yuck: It seems the bashing and the host quiting got worse with the release of GTA4.
Did about 20 races,and only finished 3 times.
To GTP_Sjaak,sorry for the contact at the hairpin.I was too focused on the EVO.
Stay away from Suzuka tonight.
 
I just had a race with GTP_Stigs_mate on Fuji, where I quickly gained my lead, although I am worried I may have pushed you on the big turn on the first lap, if I did i'm sorry, you were lagging alot, and that other guys was too, however since I think you started in first, and were the host, why was I disconnected?????
 
You can have it at 8am on the schedule, when you make it, also sorry if you were not having a good time racing me :/ I am confuzzled!

Hey mate.. no probs.. I saw you pull over to let me past.. for that sort of sportsman ship I pulled over to let you have my finish spot.. :) Its a bit bumpy out there tonight.. Im road testing a new tune for 888 Tuning so not take it too seriously.. : )
 
I think FyshoKid may be making the schedule, I last had a race with him at aboput 9.00AM utc, and he left without a trace lol, I hope he isn't annoyed with the race :O

The problem is I'm not aloud to play anymore PlayStation today:nervous:

Ure too right my friend, I'll inform FyshoKid of your post, just incase he hasn't looked.

Me and DustDriver got into two races on Suzuka 750PP, and we got disconnected both times! I was winning in the first one aswell! (I think). In the second race, we were both next to eacother, ready for battle, but we disconned again!!! I hope we get a good race soon dusty, is it alright if I call you 'dusty' anyway?
 
It would make a nice change if I could actually find some GTP members.
I've only managed to race with a couple since the registry started :grumpy:
 
DustDriver, dd, dust, dusty, bert. Doesn't really matter to me :)
And i'm testing out combinations to have 750pp with my viper.
Tried lightening it to the min weight allowed, but it's like your driving on ice.
Not because of loss of grip, but because there was almost no force feedback due to the low weight of the car.
High speed stability was gone too.


Just had a crazy race.
The only person i could see was the host of the race, and on my map i could see all the other dots acting like flies on a window :)

Dots were in the pits, in the kitty litter, even quite a distance away from the map. Very funny to watch, but it was just a matter of time before i got disconnected.

Wow, these 750pp races are very good for the more high powered cars.
Most of the other cars that could keep up with the 700pp races now have a speed problem versus cars like the viper and the amuse.
 
The amuse I was using earlier was much faster than your current viper, when I was trying to overtake, I was just looking for room, but the only problem with the amuse is that it doesn't look so cool!

Also , I was driving with minimum weight, 982KG, but since I use a control, I never had FF, so I find it easy.

My weight was too low and together with low downforce the wheels had almost no grip when accelerating
(always drive with r2 tires on my viper and downfocre was at minimum setting)
 
I'm messing with my Covette to find the balance.:) Then, one day, I will come for you :trouble:
