Is this a typo - shouldn't it say "can't"?

This league sounds good to me IF the day(s)/time(s) will be right for me. I'm just browsing leagues and will leave it for those closer to the league's home base to determine the optimal day(s)/time(s) for them.

good guys :) hmm just say the time and days you can race, so i can put it down in the thread on the forum :)

For me on or after 2200 British Time Mondays-Thursdays work best. Sundays I can go anytime. Fridays and Saturdays are tough as I am usually away from the PS3. Honestly if the majority vote for a more convenient day/time for them that is no problem for me as this is a British-based league after all.

thats no probs man, ill get that down on the thread on our forum.

I'd like to be part of this - anytime can suit mostly evenings though for me.

cool man!

it seems that mid week is best for everyone, so we are going for Wednesday and a start time between 6.30pm-7.00pm uk time, so everyone who said they was interested please say if you can make it, as for car we are doing a shortlist of the 4 most equal cars in which you can chose from, thanks

Cool, that suits me - and a shortlist of 4 cars would make it more fair - and would allow us to practice with each to find out which suits our style. I've not had much practice with GT300 cars so this is why I wanna take part, they're an undervalued and heavily underused range of cars that are actually quite fun to drive.

I'd just like to know what the "No Tuning" rule means - I know it obviously restricts adding to the HP/PP level but does it allow adjustments to brakes/LSD/suspension/transmission or do these have to be default. And can we oil change and break in?

nice one guys :) yeahh i thought id try something different and see how it goes. I do like them to be fair fun to drive.

hmm as for the tuning, everyone needs to decide if adjustments to brakes/LSD/suspension/transmission will be allowed, as for oil changing that will be allowed. I'll put your question forward on our forum and get back to you ASAP

am looking to get this league started next Wednesday, the cars allowed are Autobacs Garayia, Wedsport Lexus IS350, Amemiya RX7 so please state what car you want! thank you!

I would be interested in joining your event. Wednesday is good for me and the time looks like around noon on the East Coast in the US (also good for me).

I do have a comment about what you can tune or not tune. If you set the room parameters for "no tuning allowed", then none of the items you mentioned can be tuned ... no LSD or tranny adjustment for instance, no weight reduction, no chassis stiffener etc. Everything at default. If you want to adjust one thing, you have to eliminate the "no tuning allowed" and then it can become next to impossible to "police" what people are tuning or not.

One other thing ... the OP shows visual damage ON but not what the actual setting for damage will be ?

More than likely I'll have the Garaiya.

Reason we have no tune is because these have race car setups, they're all pretty close in performance but some have strengths over others at different types of tracks, so we want it to be fair (no tuning) but we'd like a mix of different race cars and their abilities
It will be light damage so it should be gone off 30 seconds (maybe less)

Yeah ill race with you guys. Ill be in that RX-7.
Awesome I'll inform Dunk :)

thanks for covering that up for me Andy, haven't accessed mail for awhile so didn't know there was a reply, okay cool melinda, theres going to be a practice sesh on monday, tuesday and wednesday @7pm uk, so let me know you can make it

So how does one gain entry to these practice sessions (races) ?

And please put me down for the Autobacs ARTA Garaiya '08 👍

And thanks for that explanation Andy (in your post above) although my statement really wasn't a question. It was merely to shed some light on the comment made by iainoflo85 who said .... "I'd just like to know what the "No Tuning" rule means - I know it obviously restricts adding to the HP/PP level but does it allow adjustments to brakes/LSD/suspension/transmission or do these have to be default. Maybe you were answering his question, and you quoted me by mistake. In any case, he got the information he was looking for and we're all clear on the regs now :) I don't see a lot of activity in this thread so I'm hoping more people come on board with this event.

To be able to take part in the tests you just need to have added Dunk on PSN and then join the room :)

Ah ok sorry I read it wrong. No tuning allows the change of oil, brake balance and thats it - everything else has to be default, transmission, LSD, downforce. If people or the testing shows bad results we will probably rethink and may change the rules

Well we have a few signed up hoping this picks up :)

Yeah all you got to do is add me on psn. Dunkinator101 then go from there. That's no probs, the same car I'll be driving haha. There is going to be a 3 day test session next week, starting at 7PM uk time, so if you can make all three that would be great.

I'll send you a FR today and I should be able to make the test sessions at 2pm my time here on the East Coast in the US :)
