(not that I am that fast I just launch really well in the Evo X)[/QUOTE]

not that fast my eye, you had me sweating.......

Got a few races with GTP_finbaek, both of us in F430's. You're very fast and clean mate! Thanks for the racing :)

Enjoyed some races just recently with GTP_Superwally and DTWmetro at Suzuka 600PP. Nice racing with you, guys. Thanks for waiting up in our first race, Superwally. I returned the favor.

Also, sorry for that interesting 360 at 130R. I ran wide onto the curb, got loose and thought I had lost it all. I hit the e-brake so as to intentionally ghost and allow you to P1, but somehow I recovered the spin and you slowed for me in the moment.

Have also enjoyed a few races in the 600PP category with some of you whose names I cannot recall right now. Thanks for these times.

Had some fun races last night with someone named STUDENTdriverrr. Not sure he's from gtp or not, but that was some fun races!

Brilliant racing, pal!!! What a great way to start the morning!!! : us two GTP'ers vs. GT5net'ers(orsomethinglikethat).
I had to quit after those three races because I had to got to work. I was in a hurry, so I didn't remember your psn id for thank and for request to add you to the friend list.

Nothing like a bit of Suzuka to kick start the day :D Who needs breakfast ;)
I think we showed the GT5net guys how it's done eh? F430's FTW :D Nah, they were clean and fast too, but a bit of healthy inter-forum competition never hurt anyone :)

Had some awesome races with NITUSS[PT] tonight who was driving the Tuned Lancer IX. Good clean racing, very respectful and one of those guys who you can trust racing door -to- door with.

Alright, I'm now getting into pro races and last night I tried Suzuka 600 PP. Almost everybody there is driving what it seems are the best cars for it (the R8 and the F430), but I'm still holding to the not-so-fast-but-easy-to-drive Nissan GTR. If I meet any of you guys be sure I'm fair and clean, but I still make mistakes here and there (I'm "driving" with the sixaxis, my old DF wheel is broke :ouch: ).

I met also NITUSS[PT] from my own country, in a black Lancer, and he is both a very competent and a very fair driver. NITUSS, if you read this, check your PSN messages, I sent you one.

And, for the first time, I also met someone from GTP, it was GTP_BJM[NO], in a black R8. Maybe it was because I was in a weaker car, maybe he noticed I was still a rookie in those races, but I really don't know why he waited for me in a race where I was sent off by someone else. Anyway, it was nice. I wanted him to pass before the finish line, but he didn't. BJM, I sent you a PSN message also. Thanks. 👍👍

All in all, maybe it's better that I waited a while before buying a PS3 and GT5P. I'm finding the online experience much more enjoyable than I had anticipated from reading about cheaters ruining the online races you guys were having.

If any of you guys find me onine - GTP_Hun - in a white GTR (I'll keep racing that car for a few more nights), just don't mind me, I'm still learnig and testing. I'll do my best to not ruin anyone's races. And I absolutely don't care, at this stage, about my finishing position.

Thanks for the kind words. BTW I haven't received any message from you...
Looking forward to race some more against you in the future.:)

Just had a fantastic race with Zabeu (on his 'legendary' yellow NSX) at Suzuka pp600.

We were really close to each other from start to finish ( everyone else just got left behind), but only close enough for me to try to pass once. And I didn't want to spoil the race with a stupid move that most likely wouldn't have worked.

On the finish line he swerved to the right and braked to let me win (don't know why, as he totally deserved to win), so I was 'forced' to swerve and ram his ass over the finish line.👍

Great racing, sorry for the inconsistencies, I went off in almost every race-I was trying to drive from the cockpit view, it's so much more fun, but I'm a lot better with bumper cam. Cockpit is pretty claustrophobic, and the designer of the Ferrari's rearview mirror should be boiled in olive oil!

That 360 was sweet, I had rolled up on you through the sweeper, saw you clip the curb and go all funny-I slowed to watch the show, it was well worth it!

I don't think I can keep up with you in the R8, if I stay near the draft maybe, but any mistakes and you roll away. Excellent! That was the best experience for me so far in NTSC races, I've mostly played PAL.

I'll be among the first to commend someone racing in cockpit view; as you say, it is quite claustrophobic. I feel that it increases the realism a step and I feel I can countersteer more accurately, but doing much else in that view is a hindrance to me. I know, for now, I can't race cleanly in that view.. especially on a standard-def TV. Will have to practice at that some other time. Either way, kudos to you and others who are able to do it.

I think I've got the R8 set up rather well for the corners there (in fact, it has become a favorite combo so I've spent a lot of time working on it), but in the draft, most anything will pull on me like I'm parked. Seems that I need to maintain a gap of about 1.5 seconds to remain comfortable. I was trying to run qualifying laps to stay out in front of you all. Certainly I was not too relaxed. Hope to run you all again.

Some outstanding racing tonight with zabeu and AERO_HDT, aero dumps a 6'56 on me in one of the races and then zabeu smashes out a 6'54  I love a race where one minor mistake costs you big...till next time boys 👍

Hehehe, Weary, I had the most glorious time racing against you and Zabeu tonight and I could have gone on and on if it weren't for my damned stomach (why the hell do we have to eat FOOD?!). That 6'56 is the fastest time I've ever done on Suzuka 600PP and between the three of us, we had races where there was really never more than a second between 1st and 3rd for the entire race. You withstood some massive pressure from Zabeu who is the most unbelievable NSX driver I've ever seen. I was witness to the two of you racing with nothing but a a donkey's hair between bumper bars for almost an entire race and was the most impressive display of pure driving skill I have ever seen.

If I have to go through a MONTH of rammers just to witness and participate in ONE race like that again, I'll gladly spent that entire month with a grin the size of the Pacific Ocean spread across my ugly mug!

Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience tonight, to both WRX Master Weary and NSX Master Zabeu!

👍

I had many great races last night at 750PP Suzuka on NTSC with a bunch of other GTPers (Div, CWR, Cuda, Hammy and drama to name a few) , most of whom were in the chat room.

I haven't had that much fun racing online in a long time! Hopefully there will be a good turnout for the Ferrari meet tonight!

That's odd, the message (written in the text box of a friend's request) is in my "sent messages" folder.

No problem, I'll send you another this night. 👍

I was racing with you guys too. That was a lot of fun. Those were some close races...That Ford GT really moves. I was having a hard time keeping up with the s2000, but i was impressed with it.

Had a nice race just now on 600PP Suzuka. Too bad the brakes on my GT-R were not setup right. ;) @BJM & mr_volcano: were you guys waiting for me? No need for that, you didn't hit me or anything, I crashed myself due to the too sensitive rear brakes. :)

Blaktek is a true gentleman racer, he has been added to my friend list for a few months now :)

Had a few good races with him myself and he's also on my fiends list.

BTW DONK, just noticed your profile... where abouts in Chesterfield do you live - I lived there for 30 years (Hasland & Wingerworth) and my parents still live in Brampton.

Don't you guys make me blush ! Screws up my lines. :dopey:

Anyway it's always a pleasure to race you fine people. Come GT5 and i'll get a wheelie thingie, and you'll be in for a sweat.

If I can control these MR, that is:banghead:.

See you 'round to burn rubber.

Had fun chasing Vanos around Suzuka today, he's fast in that Ferarri, makes me wish I had a wheel, too! A gentleman racer.

I love my Audi cause I start up front, so everyone is chasing me :sly:, but once they pass me, I mean if they pass me, its hard to pass with the R8 cause of its lack of power in the higher gears. You have to pass and get away enough so they cant draft you on the straights.

badmuhfuggah, I haven't seen you on lately, hopefully we run into each other cause i have had some fun races against you in the past.

Just spent 3 or 4 races, toe to toe with SUT-11 (dunno if he posts here or not) in 750pp suzuka.

He was driving a tuned chevy and I was in the trusty GTlm, bumper to bumper the whole time and not one contact. Shot 148mph through R130 and everything. Was an hour of the most intense racing I've ever had!

Highlight was when he finished .3 in front of me and none of the rest of the pack had crossed the line by the time the timer had ran out.

I need to go eat some valium now and see if I can unclench my jaw :D

Looks like finnish(SUT-11) to me?Might be a licens plate whits means in english:wheel spin, not his age? :) <- was this the colour?

Just had one of the best races ever online. Joeinda808,GTP_L8apex,GTP_bodanker and 3 more drivers that I can't recall their psns. It took place in Suzuka600pp just now and my God, the race was decided in the last corner when I made a late braking on Joe and so passing him on the inside. I've got first with my GT-R35,Joe had F430, L8apex had his Acura NSX 92 ( Great car and fast too) and 2 of them were using F430s and one F40. Best race ever! *Very Clean*

Yup that's the fellow - yellow chevy. True gent. If you see him you're in for some good, clean racing.

bloody fast tho :nervous:

A few people have mentioned Truth123...has anyone had him respond to messages or accept a friend add? He's such a good racer but has ignored all my communication??? Perhaps he doesn't speak English (or he's avoiding me and is tired of me stalking him?!?)
