As the title states, there is an Escudo sitting in my UCD right now. I have sufficient funds/xp, but I don't know if it is a good buy. Please give opinions as to whether I should buy it or not, thanks!

It's the car that gives me the biggest grief in Like the Wind (as an opponent), at the moment. It's really quick... ugly as dogpoo though.

Well worth it IMO. Did exactly the same yesterday.

Waaaaaaaaaaaay too much downforce on that car :)

Are you using the Furai Concept or the ZR1 (or the Veyron, which was good in daytona)

I love this car! I have bought it my-self and it is awsome. It has great acceleration, but as to top speed it "only" goes up to about 340 km/h if I remeber correct.
Also, if GT5 brings som sort of hill-climbing track in future updates it certainly will be worth the buy.

You don't need it to win any special events or A spec races, Bob doesn't need it either.

It's up to you, I imagine doing rally events in this would be a laugh and fun, but for 2,000.000 that's expensive fun.

It depends what level A spec you are at, what (if any) expensive cars you need to make progress and how much money you got.

If you got money to burn, then just buy it...

I'm at lvl 27 A-spec, lvl 6 B-spec, and i've completed the 1st three enduro races.

Used the Furai up until now but it's hopeless. Just bought the ZR1 last night and it seems better suited for the job (Daytona btw)..

try veryon fully modded at daytona, even with racing hard it will accelerate like... I can't come up with a comparison. However, you really have to slow down for turns.

EDIT:I'll buy it. Thanks!

I used the 787B for Like the Wind and destroyed the competition, although I did have the stealth pack.

I wore those shoes last week. At this point it is not very useful in the game. However, I bought it for 2 reasons: 1-People like to trade for it 2-Rumors of Pikes Peak being added to the game.

I've been looking to buy this in the UCD but havn't found it yet

I'm really hoping they will bring back the PPIHC track

Then it will be of much use :) Until then, practice on Eiger!

Escudo? :yuck: Its an abomination, and i wouldn't soil my garage with it

If a future events requires it and the payout/prize is worthwhile, I'd get one and then consign it to the bin as soon as I'd done the event

Yuck yuck yuck, just plain horrible that thing :yuck:

ps. I don't like it :D

I bought it as soon as I saw it. It's not extremely helpful in this game I just love it.

Bought it when it came up early in game. Never regret it. Never saw it again tho.

I used this car to beat "Like the wind" and win other cars. :D

I bought it and modded it. The top end is a bit lacking from teh downforce, but it handles damn near like the FGT. I havent played around with it yet to see if it flies like it did in gt3.

Has anyone actually used it as a rally car?

I snatched it up immediately to try and recreate the wheelie tune, but alas...it was not to be thanks to PD.

I'd like to know how she handles on the off-road terrain...

Thats exactly why I would want it. Not to use in A or B spec, but to fly around the alps in! :)
