Now maybe I'm wrong, as I may have dreamt this but is it possibly to change the names of your opponents in GT7 ?

I seem to remember it being under custom races, but I could be well wrong.

In Custom Races you could - sometimes those who made one make races named the driver as the livery sponsor and the “#” number with it.
