No problem Brutaka I wanted to do something like this for awhile and this series that you brought to the table was it. I'm excited and proud to be part pf both the GTWC and the GTPES series I hope to make the cut for Le Mans in June and hope that I will be available for it when it comes around.

I would like to thank the drivers of the GTWC series for sticking with us through out the months I know the wait was long but it's here the first race of the season is about to begin guys. :)

Last race at motegi I had to pit early because of a bug..suddenly something invisible hit my car and I suffered heavy damage..needless to say that my race was over.. So please man create this room and give us club ID so we can join the room and hopefully get less lags and bugs. This isn't a favor I'm asking its a necessity for other drivers too ;-)

That's what we have already planned, since it took a while for everyone to join the club, we had to make the first two rounds puic lobbies. From Round 1 on they will be club lobbies, you can find the lobby when it's open by choosing the ORA Club on GT6 Community

Yes it is true that the room club will have a much better quality of race than room public. This will also avoid bugs, which as you have just said it, ruin a race. And it's a pity to lose points, not easy in gained, knowing that this championship imposes a very big rigor of piloting.

I would hope that a non public lobby does give more stability. And even if it doesn't it's worth trying anyway.. The issue is important, every point counts at the end of the season.

Good to know. I've been using it for Mega GT this season and we had 11 drivers in our Season Opener with no issues.

We used Fixed hosting for the previous 2 seasons (before Club integration was added to GT6) and it worked fine, however there's always a risk of the host disconnecting and thus booting everybody else out of the lobby.

That hasn't happened to us yet, we have done many club lobbies for Gt Cup as well. the host matters a lot too, and my internet connection is pretty good, so hopefully it won't happen

Honestly, even if I never run in club rooms yet, I think you're right, Joel. Since GT5, invisible cars' issue is only due to network compatibility between drivers. It has nothing relative to fixed host or private / public lobbies etc.

Best it is room club but the host is not necessarily fixed so that it works well, the room club is just better with compared with the public room because nobody goes into the room during the race and the limit problem of connections. I says that by experience. The advantage already it is the absence of vocal chat, it is a very good choice.

We had private lobbies in GT5 and earlier in GT6, that's almost the same. And yeah, you're right saying that it removes the fact that a random guy with a crappy connection can join the room and one driver is disconnected at this time.
And regarding voice chat, yea, we prefer to set it as disabled for two reasons. Firstly, it saves a bit of bandwidth, and secondly, there's no need to speak a lot once you are in the race room. If everyone know the rules, everything should go like a charm. Just need for the race director to give orders though the chatbox and that's enough 👍
 
For Mega GT we've stopped using in-game voice chat and instead use TeamSpeak for voice communications. You can run it off a PC, laptop or mobile device and the audio is much clearer than GT6's. By doing this we get the benefits of a more stable lobby, while also having vastly improved voice chat, a win-win :)
