having trouble deciding. shifter is not that important I like paddles better. it is just the wheel decision.

I recommend the CSR wheel. I'd hold off on the shifters, unless you got the XL bundle. I have the CSR shifters, but I'm waiting on my interfaceone adapter to use a TH8RS shifter.

Also, I have the regular CSR pedals with the inversion kit. I'm content with the standard CSR pedals. I'll pick up a ClubSport Pedal V2 (or whatever) when it's released.

CSR has better paddles, but the GT3 is full round and has alcantara.

i'd get the GT3RS with a nice rim (or GT2 if you need Xbox compatibility) over a CSR anyday of the week. the rim on the CSR is made of horrible plastic, and looks hideous imo. GT3RS is also cheaper. + with the savings buy a better set of pedals like CSP

No doubt about it - the alacantra is really nice & I love the wheel. Durability is my only concern - we'll see, as I've only had my replacement a month or so; last one totally disintegrated after about 4 months. Fanatec were totally cool about it & authorised replacement via distributor - very quickly I might add. But I feel "years of use" would be more appropriate, considering the money involved. Rather than "months"? IMHO :)

I will be using only for ps3 gt5

I have owned the GT2 and the CSR. Overall, I like the CSR better, although the GT2 is an excellent wheel. The CSR has much better paddle shifters, smoother force feedback and better ventilation. My GT2 occasionally would overheat, that has never happened with the CSR. The CSR rim is fine, particularly if you drive with your hands in the 9 and 3 o'clock positions.

I am leaning towards the csr because I like to drive the race cars the most .
Just waiting to add the funds with this money pack card :}

I owned a 911 Turbo S which is similar to the GT3 in many ways. I also owned a CSR ( now own the CSR E )

In terms of the rim itself the GT3 is nicer IMO and has great feel. The CSR also has great feel IMO and is very comfortable to hold if you are a 9 & 3 type driver. Although many seem to complain I prefer the button layout of the CSR......I can reach the buttons without taking my hands off the wheel and the joystick actuated D-pad is better to use that the Porsche design which is down and away on the bottom spoke of the wheel.

In terms of FFB effects between the Porsche wheels and the CSR the CSR is better IMO. The wheel is very light so it does a better job of transferring the fine details of FFB that seem to get missed on the Porsche wheels due to their higher mass thanks to their "airbag" center section.

As for paddles.....no comparison.....the CSR blows the Porsche wheels away in that regard. The paddles alone were enough to sway me when I got my CSR and decided to sell my 911.

The GT3 is cheaper but only by $20 so for a measly $20 you get XBOX compatibility if you ever choose to try Forza in the future. The CSR has a dead spot issue with Forza still that should be fixed whenever Fanatec decides to release new firmware for it.......it's a non issue on GT5 though as the wheel works very well on that and other PS3 driving games.

Wheel is on it's way!
CSR and csr pedals are the ones I picked.
I was using an old driving force my friend gave me.
Now I passed that down to our other friend at work.
Now the wait....
