So basically Spec III with more tracks and content. GT6 on PS4 with maybe a GTVita title in between. Sounds good to me.

Let me get this straight

One Spanish and one Polish person speak to each other in English.
There might be some misinterpretation.

Then the polish guy publishes it and The story gets picked up by an English speaking dude who takes the story which might or might not be correctly interpreted an translates it with google translate non the less back to English

I think we should not draw any conclusions from it ;)

There is a lot of opinion being posted as if it's fact in this thread again and i'm not talking about the OP.

Don't get your hopes up, could be a mix in translation. Although I like the idea of more tracks, yes I do.

All of you out there right now:

Sounds like a bad joke, lol. A Spanish guy, a Polish guy, and an American walked into a bar.......

After Lucas concluded the detailed tracks in the upcoming game, he told something else, according to that article. And this is the sentence in original:

Dodatkowo także ich ilość w grze będzie taka, że kapelusze z głów pospadają.

I do not speak Polish and that sentence can't be properly translated by internet translators. But Polish and Croatian share many similar things and as I understand, it says pretty clearly:

The amount of (tracks) will be such that will make a hat fall of your head.
.

Close and good enough. :)

more accurately,

Additionally, the amount of them (tracks) will be such that hats will fall off heads.

About tracks, does anybody remember these quotes about GT5? The game was already supposed to have an enormous number of tracks... guess what happened in the end?

Please note that some of these links might not be active anymore, they are from an old spreadsheet I made.

“More than 40 tracks with over 100 layouts (including all versions of Nurburgring – which nobody’s ever done before). That enough for you? :)”

“As we were the first session and had a slight overrun, Kazunori couldn’t take many questions. However, he was able to confirm that the number of unique courses available in the game is “more than 70″”

“Gamers may choose from over 60 circuits including the newly added Tuscany, Madrid, Rome and Indianapolis tracks.”

“GT5 propose plus de 1000 voitures dont les plus puissantes jamais produites, près de 150 circuits et une experience de la course auto comme vous ne l'avez jamais vécue !”

I would assume the bulk of tracks that got cut were old original tracks that they ran out of time on upscaling. Then a few new tracks they just didn't finish, Spa being one of them clearly.

I already have these on my special spreadsheet; the quotes I posted were about the total number of tracks. If you remember, it appeared as there would have really been about 70 unique ones in total, and by merging together all sources and known/possible tracks, it really seemed it should have been the case, except the end game didn't meet the expectations.

Wasn't Tuscany the one they pulled at nearly the last minute because they got complaints about how the location was modeled or something like that?

Yeah, I remember now, you did a great job backthan 👍

We can only hope, such release would be glorious.

If true, this tells me PD's just gonna save all those classic GT4 tracks for GT6 in hopes of bringing more interest for the game. It would make total sense for marketing reasons. For that reason, I don't mind at all, just as long GT6 will be coming to us soon FOR the PS3.

We have to keep in mind that whatever PD has planned, can change in real time.

Anyway, like someone said before, it would only take all the previous GT4 tracks (and hopefully GT2's too) and 3-5 completely new tracks to make the track count go berserkly up. It's not hard to believe if this does actually ring true.

That would be the fictional circuit in Siena city ("Piazza del Campo", currently only a photomode location), but it also seemed that in addition to the dirt course named "Toscana" there shuld have been a tarmac version, which ended up being a Course Maker theme.

I really think that having a lot of tracks will compensate the fact that we'll not have the same massive ammount of cars that GT5 has. Plus, the "competition" already shows a strong car list, but they can't compete much on tracks and with this large number of tracks it'll be definitely a key point for GT6. Of course, not starting a "vs. war", just showing my humble opinion.

They'll probably scrap the standards, and with that the car count should hit around 400-500 cars imho.

I can't believe this has actually been posted as a proper news article on the front page. I mean I know real news is slow but really?
