Out of all the S2000 which one do you prefer?

the amuse have better colours and all. but the opera s2k has better body kits if only they had riced out colours like amuse then it would definetly look beta
 
I am absolutely shocked to see how few members here who likes the Amuse S2000 Street Version. I have never driven the R1, and that is probably an experience, but after a lap on Laguna Seca I was sold with the Street Version. It is tail-happy, but relatively neutral and extremely balanced. In addition, the Amuse costs half of what the Opera costs, and I ran almost as fast with the Amuse as I did in the Opera. So, the Amuse is nearly as fast and half as expensive.
The fun factor is however what does it for me, I like the way you have to keep the Amuse on the track, how you have to drive it hard, but controlled. The Opera was perhaps a tad too easy to drive, and not so special!

Riced Out? I see that as an Insult to the Amuse. Its actually an Orange Body with carbon Fiber
 
Amuse colors are not riced out as if you take a look they are only using S2000 Type V colors from the AP2 S2000. Go to honda on GT4 and take a look!:ouch:

i love s2000 i've bought almost all of them ranging from all the colours, but i personally prefer the Spoon S2000 with its hectic spoon engine which generates over 9000+ RPMs .

Amuse GT1 is my favorite.
 
My fav is a car I haven't seen skimming through this thread. The Mugen S2000, I find it is really well balanced and a great drifter. It is one of my fav drift cars. The Amuse S2000's are great too. :)

How is The Amuse S2000 R1 Rice? Its body kit is functional.....please think before you start judging cars by appearance....and im not try to start crap.....

I don't like rice, as in I don't like seeing cruddy Civics and other buzzy Japanese economy cars with big wings and 4" muffler tips attached to stock exhaust. I do, however, like it when the car's appearance is indicative of its performance. Some people are so against spoilers, body kits, CF body panels, and decals that they dislike that look even when those items are functional and the car has excellent performance on top of that. I am not. I like those things, but only when they serve a purpose and aren't overkill for the car they are attached to.

So try reading my whole post next time instead of stopping to whine the moment your eyes pass over the word "rice."

You still called it rice though, and yes i read the whole post. Its an insult to cars, it might fit cruddy civics but the R1 is definatly not rice

You should know what I was trying to say, especially after my explanation. Why should I have to continue to explain myself just so you'll leave me alone? Can't you figure it out? At this point you are needlessly pursuing an argument and trying to get me to apologize for a so-called "insult" that I never made. Grow up and just leave it alone. Like I said, you should know what I meant.

BT-> My all time favorite S2000 would be the [T]Amuse R1 Titan, I call this "the car that represents the word HANDLING". Although its not the best handling car on my fleet of time attack cars, it sure is the easiest car to lap around with. (:

Can anybody tell me all the differences between the AP1 and the AP2 in real life? All i kno is that its body has a small difference in some places.

I'm going to have to say the Amuse R1 is the best. 👍
The Opera S2000 is nice but the weight (930kg stock) is what helps it out so much. The stock suspension settings aren't anything special and the power isn't very impressive.

Compare that to the Amuse R1 and I think the Amuse stands out. The reason I say that is because the Amuse weighs more and handles just as well (if not better).
And on that note, I believe the Amuse, stock vs stock, handles better than the Opera. This is probably because of the stock suspension settings.

The Opera, just like the Amuse, comes stock with "sports" suspension. However, what suprises me is that the Opera runs 0/0 camber. The Amuse on the other hand runs 4.0/4.5. :eek: That alone can make a huge difference and in my opinion it does. :sly:

Oh yes so true about the Opera.

I've also done many test's with all the S2000's and I just love the R1. I have settings for that car for every track in the game. It's definitely my top 5 car in the game right behind the CSL.

- New bodywork/Headlights and Tailights
-Revised Suspension Tuning
-Wheel/Tire package
-I beleive (not positive) the brake rotors are slightly larger
-Minor Hp Increase
-Minor interior Tweaks

American Version
-Switched from F20(2.0L) engine to F22(2.2L) engine
- New bodywork/Headlights and Tailights
-Revised Suspension Tuning
-Wheel/Tire package
-I beleive (not positive) the brake rotors are slightly larger
-Redline lowered
-Torque Increase
-Minor Hp Increase
-Minor interior Tweaks(AP1 Radio was Rubbish)

(Not sure on Euro-spec Models:indiff: )

Thats all I know off the top of my head! Sorry if I missed something.
 
i like it with n/a tune coz it dusnt hav that lag, but the down side is it dusnt hav the *ummmphh*
 
i belive s2000s are ment to be pure N/A. Thats why the have that 9k redline:)
 
S2000's do perform best if you stick with NA, but, there is nothing wrong with using a turbo charger instead. 👍

However, if you stick with NA, don't touch the exhaust, it will cause a nice (unwanted) drop in torque.
