Outside front red bloody tire.

Bob probably isn't fast enough to create the same problem. I'd suggest posting your ENTIRE tune, the track you find this happening on, your lap times etc. and someone will take a look at it, maybe me:) If you are getting an S2000 with "push" my guess is it's some kind of tuning issue...

Johnny, It's a 2.09 issue. Even certain MRs push like a dump truck and with tuning becoming very unresponsive with this update it's really ruined a lot of the fun for me in this game. Hope 2.10 reverses some of the changes 2.09 introduced online at least -- could care less about offline.

Agreed, still, posting the entire tune is really the only way for anyone to figure out what's going on. :)

ok, it's just a run of the mill S2000 with all the upgrades, detuned to 505pp. running racing soft.
suspension:
-20 -15
9.7 11.4
6 8
5 6
5 4
camber:
2.2 1.3
toe:
-0.10 0.00

Brakes
6 5

Differential 22 34 40

I run mostly at the Nurbugring, but it happens mid corner, after the entry and right before the exit. I think this might have to do a lot with my driving style. I throw the car around the corner too much and turn in maybe too late. I have practiced turning in more early and that seems to have helped somewhat, but on long fast sweepers like the one in Tsukuba for example, I still get the outside wheel smoking.

I also agree with esoxhntr here: 2.09 tuning has become very limited. I can run soft setups and hard setups on my springs, dampers and ARBs and I barely notice a difference. Ride height is hard to tell also. The only thing that seems to respond well is the LSD and the toe settings and even those are very limited IMO.

Rear spring that stiff will cause it to push. Match your front and rear springs on a S2000 to be about the same. Since 2.09 I too have been playing around and with some crazy damper settings are getting results but its ass backwards and I cant make since of it.. I would like to know also how to get more FRONT grip since post 2.09 makeing the rear looser or tighter is easy. But getting more front grip is a big pain and lots of hrs trying and not getting anywhere..

kleefton, i spend 100% of my time online on nurb at most of it at 505

some suggestions that may or may not get rid of the push but overall observations that seem to work for me in regards to all cars and specifically the s2k (off the top of my head my settings)

ride height: you are running too low, i believe my ride height for the s2k is -3, -3 on nurb
springs: you are running to stiff, i believe my SR is 8.1 Front and Rear
ARBs: 4/3 for me
Dampers: try 5/3 for front, 6/5 or 5/4 for rear
LSD Init: your seems to be way too high, try a value from 8-13
LSD Decel: yours seems to be way too high, try a value from 5-10

Do me a favor and run my tune at the nurb and let me know how it feels and your best lap time. I have tried countless different suspension combos with higher ride heights, softer rear, arbs etc...
My findings is that they do not really change anything.
All that seems to matter in 2.09 are the toe settings and the lsd settings.
I have also tried low initial settings and lower decel settings and my findings were that with lower initial the car just does not grip well on corner exit and with the lower decel it becomes too loose around tight corners folllowing faststraightaways.

I'd start with this. I wouldn't even begin to drive your tune OP because it's so far away from any settings I would use, I'd just end up completely changing it, and this is the direction I would go.

Since the 2.09 update, I have noticed that camber seems to have a stronger effect at reducing or eliminating the outside red front tire. There seems to be a sweet spot and for me it has never been in the 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 range.

This tune got a best time of 6:57 at the ring. Not the best time but not too shabby either. I think the car has at least a 6:53 in it though.
The reason i am asking someone to demo my tune is to prove to myself how wacky things are in 2.09. I know the tune seems odd but it still works. I just wish i could eliminate that front red tire.

For me camber does nothing. Toe settings do more to alleviate this particular problem. I actually have tried a front toe of -0.48 and that helped a lot and i cant find any negative effect to it either.

Unless you got a different GT5 than I did, you're missing the boat on camber. It definitely works and I think even moreso after 2.09. Its a goto fine tuning adjustment for me now.

No i just checked my copy it definitely says gt5 on it....

Is there a test that you can post that proves your theory? I am open to seeing the light, unlike others who wont even try a darn tune...

Just because you post a tune, does not mean we're obligated to test it for you.

You're the one making absurd claims that Camber does nothing, and you want us to prove our theory? Get out of here.

Correction, I do it to anyone making asinine claims. The fact that there's a correlation between 'new people', 'low post counts' and 'ignorant statements' has nothing to do with me, as I have no control over any of those aspects.

If you think for a second, that I single out any of the above demographics, I'd recommend you go look at the recent discussions I've had with both Motor City Hami as well as CSL_ACR. I don't care who the post is from, if I disagree with what is written, I usually speak up.
