Overestimated or surprisingly bad cars.

A a complimentary thread to Neil1280's thread, what has disappointed you the most?

For me it's the Audi R8 '09 and the Citroen "race car". Absolute piles of rubbish. No power, no speed, no need to call them race cars. Cost a fortune and will get you nowhere, unless you're racing against production cars.

There are more, for sure, but that's a start.
 
I was dissapointed with the jaguar xj220 , on forza 1 i could get 1200hp from it, i i have to say i was expecting kinda the same from gt5, only 600 hp fully tuned. Handles well and sounds awesome though 👍

What is the point of this post? Anyway I have to say that the Enzo was a 1 mil disappointment also the F1s purely for the fact that you can't race them in anything except for that seasonal.
 
The Enzo is too lethargic.:yuck: I admit I hate driving it compared to my 458 Italia which I love.
 
The 458 isn't a bad car at all, it's very stable but compared to the 599, but I wasn't impressed, I expected more power but it is still a great car, I know it's FR vs. MR but it still lacks power in my opinion, at least in game, on tv it looks like a blast

And I feel the ford gt is exactly opposite, not enough balance for the power
 
The Enzo is an understeering bucket sadly, The Honda CRZ understeers a lot, the FGT is uncontrollable, The 599 GTB, very sadly, isn't as good as it looks, The LP640 understeers a lot, The 2005 Mustang GT understeers a lot, The RS200 is underpowered, The Suzuki Swift is underpowered, the Daihatsu OFC-1 is missiong something, The X1 SUCKS, The Ford GT isn't well balanced, and the Veyron takes days to corner.
 
The R8 LMS and the Citroen GT Concept Race Car are fantastic rides, I don´t know how your settings look like but mine are killers, although they are a bit heavy. (They are GT3 Cars and no LMP´s just keep that in mind when you drive them)

B2T: For me it is the Z06 RM. I can´t get rid of the Understeer it has. ZR1 RM my settings work very good but the same setup is rubbish for the Z06 RM -_-
And the C-West Räzo Silvia is my worst GT300 Car (others seem to love it and get the fastest GT300 Times with it but I don´t) and it sound is bad.
Finally the worst one: Jay Leno Tank Car. For the Price of almost 4million Credits it is totally useless. You win it though nice for Collectors but you can also get it through a 1000-Ticket (I did and I don´t dupe/cheat them again)
 
I'd say the LF-A is pretty usless, the only good thing is there are loads of different colours to choose from.

R8 race car, like someone said is very slow for 5 million.

The McLaren is tricky but I kind of like it, but prefer the F1.

Obviously the Veyron falls on the list but I was bummed about the Option Stream Z - what I don't like about it is that there is no way to get rid of the bad turbo lag (or is there). Also, the graphics on this standard car look especially bad compared to others

The tank car isn't meant to be raced, it was basically jay leno's homemade crazy show car, now had PD put his EcoJet inthe game, that would have been awesome... Better yet his steemers
 
The HPA Motorsports Stage II R32 has a terrible turbo lag. But I kind of like it because people that don't know how well it is think they will win a drag, then about 2 seconds later I fly past them. And it has great handling. So it isn't terribly overestimated.
 
People that complain about the Enzo don't have the suspension tuned properly or probably don't use their brakes early enough. Stiffen your rear shocks, rear sway bar, and/or have the rear ride height lower than the front... that'll remove the understeer.

Wrong, wrong, and wrong! Proper tuning will cure the worst of their problems the ACR is actually a remarkably good handling car with proper tuning.

DUDE! You gotta share setup,I can't really tune for Handling I can only tune for drift or drag.

The problem is, the Enzo and especially the ACR should both be remarkably good handling cars without proper tuning.

No, the problem is, most people don't brake early enough so the car plows through the corner since the front tires are overloaded. It's the driver, not the car.

The ACR handles great stock. With a thousand hp how good do you expect a street car to handle?
 
I was disappointed in the Lister Storm. Doesn't seem to have any speed at all but it could just be my tuning, or lack of it lol.
 
The Enzo is the best production car in the game. It's truly a terrific car. A great test of driving and tuning skill, as you do have to adjust the tune to your ability to handle the car.

I think it's a great car to start learning how to tune with, too. It's just a tremendous car. Hell, most people just overdrive it because it's so fast.

My greatest disappointment is the incredibly heavy Veyron.

Is it only turbo lag? You can floor the accelerator and it seems nothing happens for ages! That's fuel pump lag too...!!
