Being a fan of exotic cars and just cars in general, a trip to Boston is very tempting. Having no ties or interest in Boston I wouldn't know what else to do there but take up the McLaren ride offering. I sure would love a ride on the freeway in an this amazing car.

I don't think I could bring myself to go to the guy just so I could get a ride. Even if he would enjoy giving me the opportunity, I'd feel like a mooch. I think about that a lot when people offer me stuff, actually. I'd rather meet him at a car show or something, have a conversation, and them him insist on taking me for a ride. After that it'd be okay to mooch.

I've never been one to feel any emotion towards cars very much (like others who get all mad when someone wrecks an expensive car). Sure, I watch as an Elise drives by, or I'll go check one out if I see it in a parking lot, but even when I was around a bunch of 250GTOs I didn't feel drastically different.

But then there was the day when I was in London and the HMS Mclaren F1 rolled by... Jesus, that was something special.

But he's still an active member who can be contacted. If enough people want, I can PM him this thread, and get an answer from him if the offer stands.

BTW, you all have seen his LM at least once in photos.

The only thing is that he may have already sold one of them. I'm a bit sure I remember reading somewhere LM03 was with a new owner, but I could be wrong.

I heard about it, and I guess it's true. He sold the LM.

However, he is open to sharing them, but when the weather is nicer.

m happy to share my car(s) with enthusiasts. i have a pretty busy schedule, so it's hard for me to arrange for private rides. usually it happens by chance, if i'm out in it and i have the time, i'll gladly take people for a spin.
