How on earth did he mange that in the middle of a city?

The early model Zondas didn't have traction control. Guarantee the driver tried to take off and spun out.

My friend e-mailed me the pictures and news. Such a loss but is said to still be able to recover. However though, I still don't understand how he could damage both front and rear of the car at such a weird angle? No way the driver was taking off and spun out causing that total damage. I believe the driver was entering a corner and spun out of control.

Must of been going at some sort of high speed to make that sort of damage, especially in a city.

Ouchh……When I saw this on the news, I cringed at the sight of it…such a shame…R.I.P to this Zonda F…One can only hope that the rest of the lucky owners know how to drive and appreciate the car's value and rarity…

Hey, another HK member!

I reckon the guy was coming out of Granville Rd at speed, turning onto Chatham Rd South and gave it too much welly mid-corner. That's quite an impact for the relatively small junction.

It's going to be rebuilt by Pagani like the Uno was.

Looks to me as though he lost control of the rear end probably pulling away from the lights round a corner and smashed into the central divider with the pole. Remember supercars crumple damn easily so what looks likes tons of damage might just be a clip of a wall.

There arn't many places in HK where you can get a clear strech of road to get enough speed to have a high speed crash so it must be a spectacular loss of control at low speed.

Pretty tragic and I personally wouldn't want a patched up Zonda even if they could fix it because it will never be as good as factory fresh.
