PAL GT4P On U.S. PS2?

I got the PAL version of GT4P and my U.S. PS2 has a mod chip in it (Magic V) is it possible to play the game in color? Right now it plays fine but it's in black and white.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like your TV doesnt support PAL. Your only choice is to buy a TV that plays PAL unless someone knows another trick.

You don't have to have a PAL tv to play Prologue on a NTSC PS2. There are codes to to changes the game to switch to NTSC mode, But you will need th ARMAX EVO to input the codes (60 Hertz mode). Even if you have a moded PS2, you will still need the ARMAX

Or use VGA box, so you can play games over your monitor
usually they have a switch on it
so you don't have to unplug the cable when you switch from PS2 output to PC output
I have one, quality is okay
the refresh rate will be 50 for PAL games
low refresh rate will be very obvious on menu screen (it hurts my eyes)
but while in-game, the screen will look like running 60Hz

however, it can not compare the quality on flat-screen tv
I will recommend to buy one which is not using memory card slot for power

p.s. you can set up your logitech wheel on your desk instead building a cockpit
and then you can also use your wheel for pc, very convenient 👍
