Patch 1.09 Wishlist

DIABOLICAL
I'd like it if PD would reduce payout and experience points, get rid of some tracks, prevent grinding, lower our credit caps, introduce inconsitencies between cars (such as what you can do to them) and reduce the amount of races we can do.

Your gonna have to wait for GT6 sorry.

I would like a three or four Tier Shuffle Race system. Win 100 Shuffle Races, you get to race in Tier 2... Higher power cars, better tires. Win 100 of THOSE, and on to the next level, and so on.

Also, now the game has PP and power choke and ballast, ALL Shuffle cars should be of equal PP.

That would make for some good, even racing without a boatload of preparation and a struggle to find a Lobby that is racing evenly...

-Ability to organize garage into folders.
-Ability to tune car during practice mode, not needing to exit to tune. Simply pause, adjust settings and resume.
-Optional Telemetry HUD while racing (don't kill me for saying this...but similar to Forza 3).
-All cars >$2,500,000 available to drive in Arcade mode. I'd love to drive those $20mil cars i'll never be able to afford.
-Make online track selection easier, make it like the Practice mode screen, I hate the non-alphabetical text menu.
-Save tunes!!!
-Some sort of Leaderboard system. And make it sortable...ex. fastest 400hp, sport tire car at Suzuka.
-DLC cars and tracks!!!
-More Rally stages in Practice Mode.

There's probably more but this is all I can think of right now.

Introduce Bob the mechanic, to allow him to work in the garage, to change oil on selected cars, rebuild engines, maintain chassis, perhaps even help tune a car to a selected track that he has driven on, and show report of changes, and why.==> "Teach us to tune"

And of course, we will pay him Cr from our earnings, or he can draw his own salary from his B-Spec earnings.

I like what LamBob just said. Good idea. I would like the UCD to be full. I hate having to UCD grind. It wastes my whole day!:) I want the game to be intuitive. Do things that make sense and that anyone playing games in 2011 would expect from a game.

I also want the car list to be more balanced. For those of you who have'nt counted the amount of duplicates from the master car list, check this out. 31 RX-7's, 34 Miata variations, 9 Legacy's, 12 Celica's, 11 Supra's, 7 RX-8's, 8 Elise's, 18 S2000's, 30 NSX's, 15 Civic's, 8 Viper's, 8 Gt-40 variations (including the Ford GT), 14 Corvette's, 10 Camaro's, 12 3000 Gt's, 8 FTO's, 25 Lancer's, 64 Skyline's/GT-R's, 11 Fairlady Z's, 17 Silvia's and 26 Impreza's. That does'nt make sense to me. We all know cars that we would like to have seen besides Skyline versions #6 - #64.

Personally I would like a Boost gauge that ready in LBS/BAR. I think the cheesy default gauge is...well CHEESY

Maybe even have the ability to turn up/down boost

I think it would be cool to say I have a Supra pushing 22lbs of boost!!!!!

You mean the sending limit. Might as well remove it completely, waste the time it took to develop it... restart everyone's game in the entire world because odds are that 40% of all cars are duped ones....

How about being realistic?

Me:
Level requirement for X2010 down to 30 or 35
Increased credits for winning
Try and fix the online racing so many people can get proper races.

Another ignorant person who thinks his way of playing the game must be the rule 👎 Though, even someone as ignorant as you noticed that the trading limit was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too late. Congrats!

Me:
- Let me play the game the way I want to (I only want to collect all cars and I don't care how)
- Ban ignorant poeple from online play

Well, actually I don't care. I am done with this game after the retarded trading limit. Back to Marvel vs Capcom 3

More save options.
More HUD options - let me disable the red blinking gear suggestion number!
Rewind in replay.

Disabling that blinking number would be excellent. Sometimes I like having the telemetry to fill in the things I can't feel, but it's impossible not to notice that stupid thing. It's one assist you can't turn off.

Forgot to add earlier: I'd really like to have the race suit I picked when I started my game back. I don't want to be green and blue anymore.

My wishlist:

- stick to one set of XP/credits; updating my matrix can be tedious! :D lol
- I want a way to preview my paint job, before spending the credits/paint chip
- Remove duping, but re-enable trading (of all cars)
- I don't want to be kicked back to the main screen after seasonal races
- Rethink the Time Trial races; they are of no value, since everyone uses the exact same car and setup.
- Fix the SS7 online bug
- Rewind in replay is also a good one

X2011 Super Sport.

Twice the HP and grip. Technology has imporved since 2010

I mean the original one is getting kind of slow and boring now.

Keep 'gifting' cars to a limit of 100,000Cr

Add a 'User Dealership' where users can set a price for their car, and other users can buy it.

...in other words, A real marketplace.

Bring in a proper car trading system. You would be able to search by make/model and all are listed for cash trades.
With each trade having a 15% sale tax to help get some money out of the game.

More races, it would be so easy to add in extra tournaments, and specific model race sets. All those skyline and no specific race set for them.

Wrc race sets, having only just done the special events set it was awesome. More please, forest, gravel, tarmac/road and mixed surface.

UK tracks, yes we have topgear but what about proper tracks. Silverstone, brands hatch, goodwood etc.

The ability to race against AI with your tuned cars.
So i can choose cars i want to race against and how good the AI should be.

Cheaper cars, 20.000.000??? Should be 2.000.000 at most.
Better Sound!
Premiums only in A-Spec

1- More real tracks (Mt. Panorama and the old Hockenhiemring) for example
2- More RM cars
3- The ability to create your own tracks instead of the pre-installed peramiters including land relief.
4- Painting stock rims (seems to be everyones fave)
5- Real world weather (updated via the internet)

Make the list of driver names on the right hand side during a race actually read car type instead of driver names (like you can toggle between in B-Spec).
Just don't care WHO is catching up behind me, I want to know WHAT is the faster car that I need to worry about.

My wishlist, which probably just repeats others'...

- Ability to use paint colours more than once. What sort of auto-shop could only spray a colour for you once if you have a chit, and why would they take it away from you after using it?
- Proper preview for paintjobs.
- More rims and for standard cars, too.
- Upgrading brakes in the tuning shop. What muppet would increase his BHP by 100% and leave the standard brakes on it? Nonsense.
- Standard cars in Photo Mode.
- More A- and B-Spec races/events. The number available is pitiful with the XP required at later levels.
- Saving during Endurance races and championships.
- Links to eligible cars for sale from the Entry Requirements popup.
- Sort out the main menu, it's a real mess!
- Sort out sub-menus... if the circle/back button takes you up a level, why does it only move the pointer to the 'Home' button when you're one level down from Home? Daft!
- Improve menu loading times. Internet pages load quicker than the menus!
- Bonnet View? I don't drive my car from the bumber or roof and the view from my driving seat doesn't encompass the whole of the dashboard! That's peripheral.
- Move or make more transparent the map display during rally stages. It's right in the way!
- Rain/smoke FX are of PS1 quality. Fix!
- Fix jagged & flickering lines and shadows.
- AI cars starting a wet race on slick compounds. I've seen it twice.
- More cars, especially from outside Japan. FCOL how many Fairlady/Roadster/Evo/Skyline etc. models have they thrown into this thing? Where's the Capri? Sierra Cossie? Mexico? Diablo? Koeniggseggeggegge?
- Proper DLC. 'Nuff said.
- More and regular Seasonal Events. Possibly once-a-fortnight is not good enough, PD.
- Name your B-Spec driver. Filter out naughty words if you like but at least let us use our imagination/wicked sense of humour.
- Rename the Track Editor "Track Generator" to avoid trading standards offences.

Well that's it for the moment. Can't think of anything else.
All this being said, I think GT5 is a cracking 'game', even using the controller.

What they need to do is to patch the SS7 exploit. Isn't that the definition of a patch anyhow?

I also hope they can bring back the damn-awesome GT4-styled Arcade Mode.
