Patch 1.09 Wishlist

The drag strip that was supposed to be in GT2.

How hard can it be ? Also bring back the 400m, 1000m and test course.

I wish they could make new cars and tracks with the updates, but I dont know that thats possibe? Road America, the Nardo test track, and some new real world Tarmac Rally's would be fun. Spa is asking too much probably, lol. But they really should have put that in the game.

I dont trade or gift and so I dont care about all that. I've never needed to get freebies, I was on level 40 weeks ago.

I've gone through this whole thread. Lots of good ideas, some petty. The most interesting one I saw was being able to trade out A-spec driving with your B-spec drivers during 9 and 24 hour races.
Others I would like to see:
Being able to use your paint codes more than once / paint store.
Paint preview on vehicle
More RM vehicles
Rally races in A-spec and B-spec
More wheels for all cars
Bring back the time warp for B-spec endurance races

my wish list:

1. Full aero kits at least for the premiums. And also give us the ability to adjust downforce on all front aero kits. Only having adjustable wings leads to understeer.

2. More options in public lobbies. The ability to restrict drivetrain to one type only. fwd, awd, rwd only lobbies. Also a way to set lobbies to superGT only, nascar only, etc. Or tweak PP system so that race cars are in a range of their own. Example: if I build up a EVO RM to PP520, then when I open a lobby online someone could sneak in a superGT car.

Allow me to save my preferences on photo mode. I have to change the photo size and camera pan type every time I go into photo mode... I wanna save my preferences!

Here's a good one, bring back the driving park test course or whatever it's called.

Pretty much a course with WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE curves and LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG straights.
Great for straightforward races or seeing how fast your car can top out at.

Best thing they can do to free up time is an option to turn off ALL animated sequences (e.g. buying a car, washing a car) and let you stay in the dealers, UCD after you've bought something as I often want to buy something else.

Removing about 3 presses of 'x' to get anywhere would be nice as well. When I've finished my race I don't need to 'ok' my xp or cash, just add it and go back to the menu.

All I want is for PD to give back what they took away! (1) In gt4 you could win a prize car more than once by resetting event. bring it back. (2) In gt4 all cars with the exception of a few "concepts" had a resell value, too many in gt5 have none..WHY? (3) In gt4 we could save a championship after each race allowing you to TURN OFF your system and get back to your life. You had to continue or exit before proceeding the next time you turned it on. BRING IT BACK. (4) In gt4 when you added a spoiler it automatically added front air dam allowing you to adjust front and rear downforce 0-30. In gt5 we only get rear setting and sometimes(most) only 0-20. FIX IT!!! (5) the only thing missing in gt4 in my opinion was a save for endurances races. We did have the b-spec band aid but now we have B-spec as 40% of the game!!! Give us the save option. (6) Speaking of b-spec... why does bob get to do twice as many laps as me in a-spec. FIX IT AND GIVE ME BACK THE FAST FORWARD FEATURE for all b-spec races.:dopey: Would be nice to have test course and complex string back aswell.

ps.. coul dyou please update the OCD and put the CORVETTE C5R in it as my UCD refuses!!!

Thanks:tup::sly:

To Whom it may Concern,

Kindly please bring back the tracks in GT4:

Midfield Raceway
El Capitan
and many many more... please.

Kindly please give us MORE Premium Cars. (and ability to paint Race Cars like 330 P4)
and MORE Cars that can be Race Modded.

Lastly, Can you please make Game Replays be exportable that can be watched and/or posted as is in forums and PC.

I think I speak for a vast majority when I say:
Please let US have "Manual Save" and/or be able to Turn OFF AUTO save.

Thank you.:)

They shoud put in the game every track there was in GT4 (el capitan, citta d'aria, grand canyon...) i really miss this tracks. There were so many good tracks, and they put it out of GT5! I really don't understand it.

There's far too many to ever fit in an update but would like to have seen:

A seperate license to even OWN the X2010.

Ablative armour and deflector shields around my matte orange 49 Beetle when on the TGTT. Yes, it's cool as hell and yes, it's slow but do you REALLY have to toss it around like a football everytime I take it for a spin?

A wider choice of rims for premium cars with the neat little NFSS ability to choose size.

The ability to choose rims for standard cars.

The return of the GT Test Track. Yes, I know we have SSR7 for our top speed runs but the ability to run them and keep a log would be a welcome return. Perhaps that VW one which James May ran the Veryron SuperSport??

Brakes. Seriously, why remove them? With the advent of carbon ceramics etc since the last GT then why not have them here? They should come as standard on most Ferraris and the likes these days but for anything else, are we expected to think that modded street cars packing more than 500BHP would ever be without them?

Cars which correspond to modifications performed. Okay, so I'm running a Jaguar XKR with full stage three weight reduction, so WHY do I still have a full leather interior? Depending on the level of modification then why am I not seeing seats torn out, consoles stripped bare and carbon fibre everywhere where carbon fibre would loiter?

It would be helpful to adjust electronic assists in-race from the car. You know, like in real life! I don't generally use them myself but seen as though they are there, you might as well be able to scroll through them. It would be a laugh to get halfway round the Nurburgring and decide to put our M5's into PSYCHOPATH mode, just because we can.

Also, on the subject of such things, if I happen to have a momentary loss of concentration halfway through 4hours of Nurburgring while lighting a cigarette and plough into a barrier at 150mph, why am I not reduced to a murderous hurtling fireball of twisted metal? Yes, we have the damage model which somehow seems to be the only thing that can make an M5 even uglier but why am I then able to drive away afterwards completely unfazed when in reality, there would be men with high visibilty jackets scraping what was once my head from the armco? Okay, plainly this is overkill I know and rather ridiculous but there's no sense of real loss when you do manage to stack it. I personally would like to see built into the options the choice of a death mode where if you hit the barrier or another car at a realistic speed, you're written off and have to restart the race.

Realistic Tyre Dynamics

im specifically talking about:

WIDTH, PROFILE, SIZE

and most importantly TYRE WEAR

this means it would be good to have the ability to choose standard tyre sizes. Im not fussy about offset, as long as the game makes the wheels flush with the guard, then im happy. The ability to flare out fenders would be nice as well, to accommodate even larger/wider tyres.

http://feedback.gtplanet.net/forums/96709-gt5-feedback/suggestions/1438663-wheel-offset-width-and-track-settings

Thats really all i care about at this stage, and i think its the most important issue besides the in race saves.

The comments in the feedback forum shed some light on this LINK

In short, PD would need to implement brake fade for the racing brake upgrade to actually do anything. At the moment, it's pointless. Tire grip plays a big role in braking, and the brake controller we've been given is more than enough to overwhelm our tires. Upgrading brakes further wouldn't improve anything.

Ditch A-Spec and the whole driving aspect of GT5 because there are cheaters who use rubberband grinding to earn money!

Make B-Spec the only mode of the game!

What the heck. Are you nuts. A GT5 composed of nothing but B-spec is complete torture. I am better off using my GT5 copy to level a table. If you have a problem with rubberbanding, either you don't like people who have more money than you or you solely play online with people who have more than you. And no, I don't rubberband.

Until they improve A-spec, I don't even play GT5 anymore. The GT series as always been about a-spec. They forgot their roots which is why there are so many complaints about the game now.

As for my wish list, it would be nice to see most if not all the old GT favorite tracks return. Its not like they have to get licenses for them. Heck, even offer them as the first GT5 DLC packs, people want these tracks and we will pay.

I was being sarcastic, but think about it...

Some people abused car gifting, PD made car gifting useless!
Some people use rubberband grinding, will PD drop A-Spec?

In other words instead of fixing the problem PD always makes the worst decisions, that's why GT5 was a mess when it was released and it's getting worse... 👎

People are duping cars?
Don't ban gifting! Increase the prize money. Allow us to win prize cars again or win one of our A-Spec opponents cars. Allow us to sell expensive cars. Unlock all cars in arcade mode!

But I find funny that all the GT5 elitists were so enraged about car duping yet they find rubberband grinding totally acceptable. Of course if some people are enjoying with rubberband grinding I have no problem, keep on doing it and have fun! It's your game! 👍

But the fact that rubberband grinding is even possible proves beyond any doubt that GT5 isn't a simulation but a very rough approximation of driving mechanics that sometimes is convincing. The damage modelling and the collision physics in GT5 are laughable non-existant.... But No.... PD doesn't fix that! Instead they care about the important things which is to ban car gifting! 👎:dunce:

Well said, fix the play-a-bility instead of spending a week putting up a brick wall, (And Gamers missing out on a Seasonal Event in the process).

1. More Race content (All those Constructor races & Nationality Races werent included in GT5... wtf)
2. Quarter mile (I wanna see how quicker the X1 is compared to my 2x reigning champion Escudo.)
3. Those Tracks that went missing (The other versions of Fuji, El Capitan, Midway... Bring em all back)
4. Brakes... (What VQuick said)... I thought to myself prior to the release of GT5 "Oh Cool, surely they'll have Ceramic Brakes in GT5 - I kinda wanted to see how good they were). Instead... No brake update... RAHHHHH
5. Not necessarily Racing Mods... But 'Some' modifications on Standard cars... I.e Wheels... Carbon bonnets, etc...

It would be nice to be able to download the custom tracks used in seasonal events.
