Just tried the AE86 CLUB 2.0 mod for rFactor, and boy is it awesome or what? I guess it's not the highest ranked car on rfactorcentral.com for nothing.

I hope some day can import cars from GT5, those are F3 cars with Shift drivers all this in rfactor from my wip mod.

PC specs

Intel i5
4 gb ram ddr3
ati radeon 5750 1gb ddr5

Edit: those are the ingame models not the pohotomode models, rfactor cant handle more than 65k polys per part (car, wheels, etc.), GT5 models are 500k polys!!!

I made a research about your pc similar specs and last year it was quoted about 650 €. What do you think the actual value is? I'm considering to jump into pc sim racing.. I'm looking to hardware with great money/performance ratio, I'll be pleased to listen your advices if you have any. With your pc are you able to run your mod at 60fps with those level of details?

OT/ I really don't see the point in 500k polys per part when the shadows are simply the worst I've ever seen. Bad choice by PD imho /OT

I think you can find my same specs for 550 or 600 €, the performance is great even my video card is "old", now you have 58xx series and they come faster and faster, and yes they run at 60fps with all details at max and AA at 4x, rfactor and GTR2, all new games run perfect at 1080 with AA at 2x max detail, i mind wrx 2010, f1 2010, dirt 2, shift and GTA4, if you want crazy specs get a 58xx series, but i think my card now is cheap, you can make the "dife" (money diference save) in that point, the rest, the procesor and ram are a must if you want to be updated at today "exigences".

edit: dont forget the wheel, the very best money/performance is the DFGT and the the top are G25/27 IMO.

What about the Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT ? Is it enough to compete with the Sapphire Radeon HD 5850? By the way your 5750 is still a good one indeed. About processor now i5 and 4gb ram ddr3 are a must, and yes that is the price for a good PC for gaming 550 / 600 €. Thanks for the feedback Pay it was very useful and it comfirm the research I've done yesterday. I have a DFGT, a good wheel, I love its feedback in GTR2.

Thanks!!! im anxious to finish him, for your question, i really dont try, just made it straight to dx9. Maybe you get shader errors.
