That bump steer FFB thing you speak of is the annoying part. If it wasn't for that, it would be quite enjoyable. No messing in the FFB slider settings seems to get rid of it.
Yeah randomly down a straight, wheel just moves like you hit a dip in the road haha. Looking forward to Project Motor Racing..l

It's never going to be brilliant on the G Pro (on console) but for the "bump steer"...

If you've got some added, drop the FFB effects slider in the game to zero. It's extra info that's not needed and can add to the roughness.

Lowering the gain in-game would also help - maybe increasing the power of the wheelbase to compensate. Setting the tone to suspension feel instead of tyre feel will lighten the steering - maybe around 35. Add even more dampener on the wheel - you do tend to loose details but it helps with preventing those spikes.

And use raw or informative. Immersive I find is very heavy with Logitech wheels.

Has anyone tried PC2 on a PS5 Pro? Apologies if it's been posted already and I'm being lazy not searching properly. I'd be interested in seeing whether the lighting/shading bug remains there, I'm seriously considering upgrading to a Pro but still on the fence. I've heard mixed stuff about how it enhances older titles.

seems have same problems on PRO

I'm admittedly a little less observant than many when it comes to racing games.

I think you're trying to show a problem/issue with the game but it looks great to me 🤷‍♂️

What should I be seeing?

Take a look on the comments under that video. I asked to the author to check some other day/hours combination on Long Beach, and he said the PS5 Pro has the same shadow issues of the PS5, this problem in some track/condition are very distracting.

Oh, ok. Thank you. I'm not well tuned to see things like shadows. If something isn't BLATANTLY off, I don't notice it.

I have the PS5 Pro and PC2 looks and runs like the PS5, not better, for what is worth

Yeah it runs great, the shadows are just off.

I found playing round with HDR/tv settings improved it. It doesn’t completely cure the issue but it lets you forget about it.

Ultimately though, just like DIRT Rally 2.0, it’s just a game that looks miles better on a Series X than a PS5 I think.

Since I'm anticipating pmr with lots of hope, i started pc2 again on ps5.
Pretty damn cool still, really hope they pull the hat trick, and put out an excellent sim all around, with great physics, ffb, sounds, ai, looks, features, and optimization.
We know car wise, content will be cool, i hope tracks too, with historic tracks like in pc2.

The weather and track dynamism are pretty good.
Also the commentary, or team comments is pretty cool, saying when laps are down or up, encouraging you, hehe, i like it.
Makes me curious to see how that will be in pmr, with the ai driven commentary supposedly.

A shame the game doesn't look clean on ps5, and the contrasts way too high.
Looks ok when sunny at middle of day.
Also replays could be smoother.
I hope sounds will be great in replays too in pmr, in roadside cams.
🤞🙏
I was using the aston martin gt3, at brno, and using 3rd person, when i usually use cockpit, because of the messy look on ps5.
It helps a little, and it's a pretty cool game in that view still, for a sim style game.
Sound was pretty cool too.
Cars look good still, and when in pits.
Peace..
