PD isn't planning a new update soon are they?

I'm worried that they will, I just updated my game after doing a data transfer, so I don't wanna have to go through that again.
 
Thanks for sharing. I'm sure the community will be waiting anxiously to see if you make it through the next update. Try mint or ginger tea if your stomach is upset over it.

I use to be happy to play GT4 even after i finished all the races just by driving and enjoying the cars.Now i cannot because the car sounds are bad (there are some exceptions, but they all stink).If the next update improves the sounds by at least half better, i will wait even a year for an update.There are 300 cars i love driving, it's just they suck to hear in GT6.

How does a PS2 game have better sound? Do you even know what HALF the cars should sound like?
PS they already said no sound changes for GT6.
I guess you should find another game, instead of the same complaints that have been repeated a million times.

No-one can answer your question with certainty, but they are very slow to add updates. I wouldn't expect another update for at least a month unless it is bug fixes.

Many. PD takes 10 months for one track.

During those ten months GTA gets updated 2-3 times.

(I'm focusing on main updates, not bug fixes)

Compared to the DLC/updates in the "other" game, GT is indeed very slow to update.

Your point is valid. But everything we've had so far has been free and updated into the game instead of us having to buy it from the PS store. Patience saves us a few bucks in this game :)

You do realize that doing this sort of thing takes more than just a few days. Besides, everything we've had has been outstanding and everyone should respect what has been given as a FREE UPDATE. I've only been on GTPlanet for a few weeks now and before I joined I always read through the forums and nearly 75% of that was complaints of 'PD is late with our update again' or 'Why are the Vision GT cars standard??' It's just a game. Everything we want in the game (via the suggestions forum and what we have currently) would simply be impossible to put into one game. Even if it wasn't, it would still take a awfully long time and then lots of people would maybe write emails saying hurry up or Just release the game now. Let us just be thankful for what we have and as I am writing this, I'm very sure that Kaz and PD are working very hard right now to bring us our next update and also on the devolpment of Gran Turismo 7.

When did I complain? I simply stated that PD is slow on pushing out updates.

GTA5 released September 2013, has had 17 updates. According to Rockstars update log, the first 5 of those updates were bug fixes.
GT6 released December 2013, has had 12 updates plus numerous hot fixes.

Update frequency looks to be similar. Unless you meant a different "other" game?
 
In terms of update frequency 12 updates /10 months is better than 17updates /13 months but GTA5 needed the hotfixes to complete the game. I played it when it first came out and it had more bugs on it than on my front lawn.

It has... If dudes playing experience is gonna be ruined without a sound update, he might as well find another game... I'll say it again PD said there will be no sound update...
And if he don't like standards, well GT7 ain't gonna please him either.

I just got the gt6 and it's been gingerly updating for two hours .

More like a billion my friend. Like with ryzno's point, No one should expect all the car sounds to be perfect in any game.
Take the Vision GT cars for example. They're not real for starters, so how is it supposed to sound? No one's going to know that.

Christ on a bike, Johnny. The guy has 10 posts here. Think you could muster up at least a little bit of empathy when talking to a new member, or does Project CARS not have that feature? EF had the correct response to his question. Not some sarcastic remark written to get likes.
