What do you think of the custom tracks PD uses for the seasonals?

I love them so much that I actually start to hate them because of the fact that you can't drive any car I want on them.

Eh, they are ok. Thay are just randomly generated from the course maker anyways.

I like them, Seem quite easy to drive on them since the roads are so wide?

I like the Toscana and Mt Aso tracks, the Eiffel can be a bit annoying, kart tracks can be good with the right cars.

is there anyway to drive on those tracks other than in the seasonals?

Nope.

I hope they add some functionality that will let you actually download tracks to your account some day.

I voted Meh because I like and don't like the track maker in the game. I wish there was more than just Toscana and Mt Aso type tracks for tarmac. I want one that looks more race track than country road. A track with walls at the edge more like High Speed Ring, Indy, Monza, etc.

I voted Meh because although they are technically "new" tracks, I don't find them very interesting and sometimes we get a track that makes you think "how the heck is this even considered a race track?" and other times we get Go-Kart tracks :yuck: but occasionally we do get a half way decent track, like the Eifel Circuit in the DTM seasonal.

Meh! The TV cam doesn't work properly on the generated tracks either so watching your stylish replay becomes an exercise in visual rash-scratching.

The supercar nostalgia one was great, the others- :-/

Every is better than Tsukuba :D
But seriously, I like them. It's always something new to explore :sly:

I usually like the Toscana tracks the rest I could leave.

Love the Toscana track in the Japanese 90s event, not so keen on the Mt Aso in the British Lightweight.

I don't like PDs custom tracks. I find them too wide, too banked, too hilly, and too simple. The exception is the kart tracks, but those are too narrow for side-by-side racing.

The custom track maker leaves MUCH to be desired but it is capable of producing decent race tracks. With some effort you can make tracks that feel realistic and provide a challenge to drive. NASCAR tracks have wide high-banked curves. Road courses don't.

At the risk of being immodest... Here is an example of the kind of track they should make for the seasonals:

The FGT one is horrible, whoever made it lacks some basic knowledge and perception of how a race track should look like and should get fired.
