Perfect Balance's Gallery | Lancer Evo GT-A

Thanks MY and FallenAngel. The motion blur was all the way up at 50, which is a lot, but I guess I could have raised it up a notch to look somewhat like 440's shots, but even then I had to use 4 layers of decreasing motion blur to get rid of the halo around the car made by that one.

Nice to see you back for more
haven't seen you update lately
the wheel blur is realy nice imo
love the extra touch-ups on the headlights

Very nice. The second one is nice and simple with a perfect blur on it, very clean. I like the first one the best, it just looks so elegant and smooth. Definately get your gallery up and running again.

Thanks for the comments, franz, kenny, krame, and garnettrules21.

Heres a version of the second pic with more blur, since FallenAngel said he would have liked more motion blur ( I messed with the colors on this one too.)

First time I came to your gallery, and I'm loving it! Man, you guys are so good.

P.S. How do you get the cars to move in photo travel? I thought they were all stationary.

Wow, great update, PB!
The second is my favourite of this set. The radial blur on the wheels is what I like. It looks like you cut it off a real photo!! Well done with both of them. 👍👍

very nice saleen pics dude love the motion blur...

The wheel blur is outstanding as well... very polished finish.

That newest S7 I think I like a bit more. Just seems to flow a bit better. Great job!

Jeeze, staying up so late, tsk tsk.

:D

The first is nice, but nothing special.
But the second is great, the blur is perfect and no one blurs the wheels like you.

Nice Saleen PB.👍

On the motion blur you created for the second one, it looks pretty good like it is, but if you can learn to use the radial blur, I think it could look even better. And it's really not any more difficult than reagular motion blur. You just have to paste your original photo into a much larger, blank image so you can move the vanishing point further away, (and it bogs down your computer waiting for the blur to render), but I think you could have a really great shot if you used the radial blur.:)

The wheel blur looks very nice too. Could not have done it any better myself. Oh, and maybe add a little unsharp mask to the car layer. Settins of like 125/.6/0 or something around there.

And one other thing, if you want your blur lines to stand out a little more, add a little noise to whatever you are blurring. Somewhere between 3 and 5, depending on how dark or bright the shot is.

Later.:)

Thanks 440, I though about doing the radial blur like you said, but I was always too lazy to acually do it, but I know it would have helped, as the buildings are kinda messed up.

I like that one shot has a "cool" feeling and the other has a "warm" feeling. 👍 Very nice shots on both of them. AND watch out for the jaggies at the wheel on the 2nd shot. :)

Thanks.

@PLmatt91: I just used radial blur, I guess it was just my luck they turned out so good.

@JFM: I Honestly do not see any jaggies at all in the second pic at the wheels.

def worth looking at! that is one primo saleen two-part picture set man. the wheel blur on the second one is fantastic!
