Permanent Borrow Glitch Trading Thread

Hey guys heres a quick tip!
Gotta USB Hard Drive? Haven't installed GT5 yet? Heres a neat way to do the glitch faster!
1. Copy your game data into your USB stick
2. When you remove it and do the glitch, simply copy the game data back that was on the USB stick.

How can you copy it? If I open game data -> GT5 -> Triangle It only shows "Delete" and "Information". NOT "Copy".

I guess it would be a easy task if you have 2x PS3's in your house. Then you can switch from one to the other with your savegame. Or switching your HDD (if you have a extra 2,5" HDD) would also work. :)

So, no one with an Nissan GT-R SpecV (GT Academy Special) in their garage has tried the glitch till now? Can you keep the car or will you loose it?

And yea, I am not talking about dupping the car here. :sly:

I don't think you'll lose the GTR Special Academy, if you go to your game data and click on information it shows for me only chromelines and stealths so i'm thinking all other cars are in the gamesave and not game data 👍
 
Just so I'm sure 1.10 is 6 bars right? it says 1/6 at the minute.
 
Where do I the BACKUP? ZeGerman? Maybe in German...

So correct me if I'm wrong but you saying have 1 PS3 that has everything installed.... borrow a car... copy that save game over to your PS3 that does not have the updates installed... load game.. switch out the borrowed car to something else.... copy that game save back to the other PS3 to borrow another car... rinse repeat... rinse repeat?? if that's what your saying.... that could be very quick indeed....
 
If someone would be willing to put the GT Special Academy on share and me try this glitch to get it, that would be wonderful. You can PM me so people wouldn't know it's you.;)
 
I don't need any cars myself, but I've added the Peugeot 905 to my shared cars if anyone wants it, FR me.
 
I think to use the glitch easy and smooth you need a second PS3, it´s the only way to keep it safe. Erasing the gamefiles are not the smartest move when you have a bigger garage. You also save a lot of time when you have a second PS3. and it´s 100% safe! you just play around with a savegame!

this delets all custom tracks, all replays and all your photos.

You also get a free Mercedes Benz E touring type thing form 1992 every time you do the glitch

Thanks but no thanks, my created courses are my pride and joy of GT5 since all other aspects are beat and i'm sooo tired of the same old core tracks i've been playing over and over since GT1. Replays and photos are semi-irreplaceable too.

Glad someone figured out how to shove one up PD arse, since they'd been doing us all dirty since update 1.05 back in Mid-Feb.

removing my x1's from shared lol (<--👍 this) Since i had to earn mine after getting my stuff stolen outta my house in early Feb.

You don't have to lose your photos and replays.
All you have to do is export them to save data and you can copy them to a flash device or external harddrive.

Well you are a genius sir, now for business, anyone have a carbon x2010, or the old 10 mil alfa or ford mark IV they'd let me "borrow"

ohhhh... now I'm excited.... this is a bad time to go on vacation..... sure enough this will probably be fixed by the time I get back.... "armada" nice... I was thinking "fleet" but I like armada better..... :sly: :dopey:
 
the photos, replays, tracks, thumbnails etc. should all be safe when using a second PS3! ;)

no need to save them, just don´t erase your gamefiles
 
Looks like im gonna be sharing all my expensive cars, however the two most popular cars people have asked me to share are the 905 and the X1 Proto.
 
I've just added the first person to my X1 Carbon account (THIS IS THE ACCOUNT YOU MUST ADD => GT5car121810). I'll be on for a little while doing Remote Races. The X1 is shared. Add me now if you want it ASAP.

Also, delete me as soon as you get the car so that I can add other people.

Hopefully the Dear Leader will hear of this thread and learn the error of his ways... and fix the ridiculous trading rules.

EDIT: It's not too late to redeem yourself Kaz... i guess we'll see in next weeks patch huh?
